Role: Consulting Project Manager

Salary: $75k - $85k USD

Ability to travel up to 20%

The project manager role at Festive Road plays a pivotal role in creating better for our clients. This role keeps the project team organised and is the project lead’s right hand with programme assessments, strategy & programme design, supplier sourcing, implementation and programme management. In this role you’ll get to work with some of the industry’s most innovative companies and teams and will collaborate with our amazing Hive Mind.

Responsibilities

  • Support project leads in applying our proprietary methodology across the programme lifecycle: assess, design, source, build, manage
  • Drive collaboration within the project team, using strong organisational skills and industry expertise to ensure clients are delighted with every deliverable
  • Interpret data and identify key trends using strong analytical skills
  • Support client strategy workshops and supplier sourcing workshops
  • Assist clients with the smooth implementation of awarded suppliers
  • Collaborate with the wider Festive Road team to push the boundaries of our client solutions and contribute to industry thought leadership where appropriate

Key Skills Required

  • Industry Expertise — Extensive knowledge of the corporate travel and/or meetings industry, including operations, client management and procurement
  • Client-Focused — Ability to lead with client needs and desired outcomes, delivering solutions matched to their requirements
  • Problem Solving — Ability to map out all components of a case, with strong attention to detail, listening and questioning skills
  • Analytical Thinking — Ability to identify the right data sources and analyse data to spot patterns and trends that inform decisions
  • Effective Communication — Ability to translate ideas and data clearly for the audience, with excellent written and oral communication skills and the confidence to form a point of view
  • Project Management — High organisational capability, managing multiple priorities against agreed milestones and outcomes, identifying and mitigating risk, and meeting tight deadlines
  • Attention to Detail — High-quality, hands-on, results-oriented delivery to brand standards
  • Effective Collaboration — Contributes to a supportive project environment, partners with colleagues and client teams, and proactively anticipates questions and challenges

Experience Required

  • 5+ years experience in the corporate travel industry
  • Experience working with corporate travel management companies, online booking tools, travel supply base, and other travel technologies.
  • Experience with SmartSheets, advanced knowledge of Microsoft Office (Excel, PowerPoint)
  • Project Management experience
