Job Title and Band: Visual Merchandising Project Manager

Contract Type: Maternity Cover – Full Time

Base: Field with requirements to work from agency or client office ad hoc

Salary: Up to £44,500 per annum plus car allowance

Line Manager: Account Manager

Job Summary:

Infinite supports a global sports apparel brand with Visual Merchandising services across Wholesale doors in the UK. We are keen to engage with an organised and analytical National Visual Merchandising Project Manager with a passion for sport, fashion and apparel. The right candidate has an enthusiastic and productive approach, with a track record of high standards in delivering client services and managing a national field team.

The Role:

As the Visual Merchandising Project Manager, you will be office and field based, on hand to lead the National Visual Merchandising team, supporting their success along with the Visual Merchandising CoOrdinator. We are looking for a team player who is willing to take responsibility and be independent operating thoroughly and efficiently, managing tasks within the timeframes required.

The role will involve working with multiple stakeholders, including client contact and colleagues from European agencies; therefore, we require a professional but outgoing personality, someone who can adapt quickly and positively to new situations whilst always displaying role-model behaviour.

Key Responsibilities:

Project Management:

  • Have a strong understanding of the client expectations, visual merchandising standards, product category split, account requirements and key asks.
  • Review Europe and local requests of the Wholesale Visual Merchandising team and management, including the national door list and Visual Merchandising budget, and implement a strategised approach to ways of working within constraints of contractual obligations
  • Monthly reconciliation of team spend, invoice submission and host finance review meeting with internal accounts team
  • Create and present half year wrap up reports to the client showcasing performance against KPIs and Visual Merchandising impacts made within the Wholesale channel.
  • Attend weekly client conference calls, multiagency calls, and team calls, strategising next steps for actions taken
  • Own the output from the teams reporting, work with the reporting team ensuring the UK is tracking against targets for performance, take ownership of highlighting anomalies and resolving issues.
  • Attend, deliver and create team meetings and training content; participants can include both agency and client Visual Merchandising team.
  • Represent infinite identifying opportunities to work with wider client key stakeholders

Team Support:

  • Evaluate the visual merchandising standards captured by the team prior to sharing with client or wider European network.
  • Using KPI tracking and half year reviews, utilise Visual Merchandising Coordinators' insights to deliver concise, actionable feedback monthly to the Visual Merchandisers supporting their development and effectiveness in store.
  • Using thorough analytical skills and calendar management, support the team success in delivering visit frequency expectations and product launches in priority doors.
  • Oversee the Visual Merchandising Coordinator logging team sicknesses. Sign off holiday requests, escalate HR Topics, own the recruitment process as required.

Knowledge, Skills and Abilities:

  • Exceptional organisation skills with a proactive approach balancing multiple project asks simultaneously.
  • Strong interpersonal & professional relationship building skills at multiple levels, with an ability to objection handle, influence and motivate.
  • High IT skills across the Microsoft suite (Word, Outlook, Excel, PowerPoint); notably comprehensive experience is required with using Excel formulas & Pivot tables
  • Fluent in English, strong verbal and written communication skills
  • Full UK driving licence
  • Ability to travel nationally weekly as required.
  • You will be able to work autonomously, but also take direction.
  • Ability to work to tight deadlines and meet objectives under pressure.
  • Demonstrate a proactive and flexible approach to work, take personal responsibility for own work and are accountable for delivery and quality.
