Job Title: Remote Electrical Estimator (US Construction)

Location: Remote

Working Hours: Pacific Time Zone (Full-time)

Salary: USD $1,500 - $2,500/month (Depending on Experience)

They are a growing electrical contracting company based in Washington, USA, specializing in large-scale multifamily, commercial, and light industrial electrical construction projects. As the company continues to expand, they are looking for a detail-oriented Remote Electrical Estimator to help support their growing project pipeline.

You'll be joining a lean, collaborative team that values reliability, initiative, and continuous improvement. This role will work closely with an experienced estimator and project managers while supporting the company's estimating and bidding efforts.

Job Summary

We are seeking a Remote Electrical Estimator with experience in U.S. construction estimating to assist with electrical takeoffs, bid preparation, and cost estimating for multifamily, commercial, and light industrial projects.

This role is ideal for someone with strong estimating fundamentals who enjoys working with construction documents, identifying project costs, and contributing to accurate and competitive bids. There is also room for growth as responsibilities expand over time.

Key Responsibilities

  • Perform electrical quantity takeoffs from construction drawings and plans.

  • Prepare accurate cost estimates for multifamily, commercial, and light industrial projects.

  • Assist in preparing and assembling bid packages.

  • Utilize estimating software such as Accubid, Bluebeam, and Procore.

  • Collaborate with estimators and project managers throughout the bidding process.

  • Review project specifications, drawings, and bid documents.

  • Organize estimate documentation and maintain accurate project records.

  • Help improve estimating workflows and reduce turnaround time.

  • Support multiple bids simultaneously while meeting deadlines.

  • Learn and adapt to the company's internal estimating systems and processes.

Required Qualifications

  • Minimum 3 years of experience estimating U.S. construction projects.

  • Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering, Construction Management, or equivalent estimating experience.

  • Experience estimating electrical construction projects.

  • Strong understanding of commercial and multifamily construction workflows.

  • Excellent written and spoken English communication skills.

  • Ability to work independently with minimal supervision.

  • Highly organized with exceptional attention to detail.

  • Comfortable working full-time during Pacific Time business hours.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Experience estimating large multifamily, commercial, or light industrial electrical projects.

  • Proficiency with:

    • Accubid

    • Bluebeam

    • Procore

  • Experience managing multiple bids simultaneously.

  • Ability to identify opportunities to improve estimating processes and workflows.

  • Portfolio or work samples demonstrating estimating accuracy is a plus.
