As part of the Gas Power One Field Services team, FieldCore installs, maintains and upgrades power generation equipment, enabling operators of the world’s energy infrastructure to provide more reliable and affordable energy.

Job Summary:

Tendering Manager I is responsible for the costing & planning of upgrades across the Americas, ensuring excellence across several key metrics, including SQDC, productivity, & customer satisfaction.

Essential Duties & Responsibilities:

  • Works closely with PES and GEV Commercial & Sales teams to provide tailored upgrade plans and cost estimates for upgrade opportunities to contribute to the OFS & GE Vernova operating plans
  • Develop field service project cost estimates using standards. Ensure all aspects of the job related to field service are planned accordingly, including schedule, cost, man loading, core outage/critical path impact, and job set-up
  • Prepare outage offer, ensuring competitiveness in relation to scope, resourcing, timing and cost. Follow opportunity through project lifecycle
  • Support the planning and execution of projects from opportunity through closeout by reviewing updated project requirements, developing and updating cost estimates, escalating cost variances, and tracking performance relative to SQDC and KPI targets.
  • Support communication flow between event management, ITO, parts, repairs, sourcing, engineering, & PES to facilitate execution excellence across the life cycle of the project.
  • Own the monitoring of project costs of the project with the support of the value stream, productivity & project controls team. Perform As-sold vs. As-executed analysis for all projects
  • Go to Gemba during the execution of the project to gather lessons learned for future projects
  • Support, as required, end customer pre- and post-outage meetings to maximize project efficiency and effectiveness
  • Review technical reports generated on site, update documentation, project status, and cost as required
  • Partner with Regional & PES Operations teams to ensure feedback loop to drive continuous improvement and provide inputs to key planning and review processes
  • Perform other duties as assigned

Required Qualifications & Experience:

  • Bachelor’s degree or equivalent in related
  • 8+ years applicable experience and demonstrated success/knowledge
  • 3+ years of GE Gas Turbine and Generator Field Services or similar industry experience required
  • English proficiency required

  • Excellent facilitation, presentation, and verbal & written communication skills
  • Travel required to support site survey needs & execution lessons learned

Compensation and Benefits:

The annual salary range for this position is $81,100 to $129,900.  This is an exempt from overtime position.  FieldCore benefits include insurance (medical, dental, vision, disability, and life), retirement savings, health and Wellness reimbursement, and a bonus or incentive program.  Eligibility for FieldCore benefits is determined under the terms of the applicable benefits plan.
