Job Description

Purpose: Own the FP&A data infrastructure. Connect all financial data sources and process them into an accurate, secure system of data and processes to feed real-time data to FP&A analysts for fast, deep forecasting and decision support.

Key Responsibilities

Responsibilities

  • Connect and automate data feeds for: invoicing, cash flow forecasting, revenue forecasting, revenue recognition, expense modeling
  • Feed data needs across FP&A processes and systems
  • Connect HR headcount data to FP&A tools
  • Push all outputs into Drivetrain for reporting, analysis, and versioning
  • Automate data refresh
  • Set access controls to keep data secure
  • Create controls and validations to ensure data accuracy
  • Build AI-assisted workflows using Claude and other tools
  • Partner with IT on system integrations, ensuring data flows reliably and securely across connected platforms
  • Establish Drivetrain as the source of truth for analysis and reporting — ensuring Claude AI can be used by FP&A and leadership for self-service reporting of all metrics
  • Maintain single source of truth across all connected data sets

 

Data Sets Owned

  • Customer contract and order database
  • Headcount and employee data
  • Invoicing and collections data
  • Vendor expense and spend data
  • Actual GL data
  • Forecasts and budget versions
  • Professional services project data — billings, milestones, resource planning, costing

Skills and Experience

Requirements

  • Experience managing large financial data sets
  • Heavy daily use of Claude — builds AI-assisted workflows, not just aware of them
  • Strong Excel and Drivetrain skills (or ability to learn fast)
  • Basic data query skill (SQL a plus, not required)
  • Experience working with IT teams on system integrations
  • Some experience with data warehousing concepts and tools
  • Understands core FP&A concepts: CARR, revenue recognition, cash flow, expense modeling
  • Data governance and security awareness
  • Comfortable working directly with a CFOO in a fast-moving environment

 

Success Looks Like

  • If data is available in the organization, FP&A analysts have access to it, real-time, without asking for it
  • Forecasts run faster and deeper
  • No more disparate, redundant, disconnected data sets

Salary Range:  $120,000.00  to $140,000.00
