Job Description:

At Regions, the Learning Delivery Professional at this level serves as a consultant and provides high level formal and informal coaching to managers, leaders, and executives as well as their teams for both development and performance improvements.

Primary Responsibilities

  • Supports Learning & Development strategy along with team initiatives and goals
  • Takes responsibility for actions, projects, and people, maintaining a strong focus on desired outcomes
  • Takes initiative and works under own direction, seeks guidance when necessary
  • Makes quick, clear decisions which may include varying levels of risk
  • Proactively builds and initiates continuous learning and development plans
  • Utilizes strong values in quality improvement in making recommendations for changes to senior leaders
  • Proactively seeks out new responsibilities in both the immediate context of the job and outside
  • Proactively shares relevant business information and best practices with leaders
  • Remains current on industry-wide trends through utilization of both internal and external resources, and shares important information with leaders
  • Challenges traditional approaches to problems and collaborates with leaders in identifying innovative solutions, explaining decision rationale when necessary
  • Displays an advanced level of engagement in the facilitation of learning sessions
  • Asks thought-provoking questions, sparking interest and generating unique conversations that advance the level of understanding and challenges participants to think differently and change perspectives
  • Resolves conflicts and disagreements among team through productive methods
  • Cultivates a strong network across business groups and maintains relationships with external contacts
  • Encourages participants to identify and focus on the most relevant developmental opportunities
  • Utilizes stories, metaphors, and analogies to assist audiences to do the their “best thinking”
  • Utilizes positive reinforcement and positive tension to influence learners, create accountability, and drive behavioral change
  • Ensures a focus on overall group participation and improvements, leveraging the group to change perspectives
  • Contributes to loan, system, and producer training

This position is exempt from timekeeping requirements under the Fair Labor Standards Act and is not eligible for overtime pay.

This position is currently offsite in Birmingham, AL, Atlanta, GA, Charlotte, NC, Orlando, FL, or Houston, TX. Associates will work from their home primarily and may be expected to go on site for meetings or other events as needed.   

Additional Preferences

  • Bachelor's or master's degree and experience in leadership, talent development, organizational effectiveness, consulting, or a related field.
  • Certification in leadership assessment and development tools such as CliftonStrengths, Hogan, DiSC, MBTI, Korn Ferry, or similar instruments preferred.
  • International Coaching Federation (ICF) credential (ACC, PCC, or MCC), executive coaching experience, or formal coach-specific training preferred.

Additional Skills and Qualifications

  • Exceptional presenter and facilitator with demonstrated experience engaging, influencing, and inspiring audiences ranging from executive leadership teams to large-scale organizational events. Able to capture attention, foster engagement, and inspire action among diverse audiences.
  • Demonstrated ability to facilitate executive leadership discussions, leadership team meetings, strategic planning sessions, and other high-impact business conversations.
  • Proven experience coaching managers, leaders, and executives to improve leadership effectiveness, performance, and business results.
  • Ability to navigate complex group dynamics, foster meaningful participation, and ask powerful questions that drive insight, accountability, decision-making, and behavior change.
  • Advanced knowledge of adult learning, professional development, and group facilitation practices.
  • Strong business acumen with the ability to connect learning initiatives to organizational priorities and measurable business outcomes.

Compensation Details

Pay ranges are job specific and are provided as a point-of-market reference for compensation decisions. Other factors which directly impact pay for individual associates include: experience, skills, knowledge, contribution, job location and, most importantly, performance in the job role. As these factors vary by individuals, pay will also vary among individual associates within the same job.

The target information listed below is based on the Metropolitan Statistical Area Market Range for where the position is located and level of the position.

$99,325.05 USD

Median:

$127,170.00 USD

Incentive Pay Plans:

This job may participate in an annual discretionary bonus plan.
