Job description

Who We Are

Headquartered in Oregon, Foureyes® is a remote-first company with employees in two dozen states. We are privately owned and focused on the automotive vertical.

We believe human intellect paired with data-driven AI is the winning combination. It always has been. And we're on a mission to bring that winning combination to automotive dealerships with easy-to-love software. We're a software company that thinks about people first. With every innovation, we seek to put humans back in the starring role.

If this sounds like the kind of company you want to be a part of, there’s good news. We’re hiring for a Data Integrity Analyst!

The Team

The Data Integrity team is an integral part of the Foureyes organization, contributing results and action items for our clients and internal team members. As part of the team, we expect collaboration and clear communication - amongst each other and with other teams. The team operates at high levels of technical expertise to ensure we have a path to resolution for any obstacle thrown our way. The team thrives on autonomy and teamwork to proactively and reactively identify issues & process improvements.

The Position

The Data Integrity Analyst cares about the quality of data and is always seeking ways to improve current processes. Enjoys and is motivated to solve problems, and effectively hands-off/partners with engineering when appropriate. Solves problems in a timely manner and utilizes processes, tools, and resources to ensure completion of work. Maintains client configurations and evaluates and improves data quality to ensure the overall health and stability of our platform and product efficacy.

On a day-to-day basis, a Data Integrity Analyst will be responsible for identifying and resolving client configuration issues, answering product questions from internal team members, partnering with the development team to provide detailed feedback on current data trends, and handling maintenance of core product integrations. This role ideally will be able to identify areas of opportunity for improvement of our product and our processes, and have a passion for being proactive as opposed to reactive. You will develop and strengthen a desire for continuing to improve the quality and delivery of our data.

Responsibilities

You are responsible for routine maintenance tasks, ad hoc maintenance, and data quality projects. This includes, but is not limited to:

  • Leveraging technology. Your role will include working with various tools including SQL, Snowflake, Tableau, Insomnia, and the Fourbot admin tool among others.

  • Fielding Questions: You will act as a subject matter expert on Foureyes client configuration (this will include assisting with escalations from other teams on configuration related issues).

  • General Maintenance: Our products need support too to keep running smoothly and effectively. You will be responsible for managing our more complex maintenance reports and systems that will indicate action items needed for our clients and products to stay happy. This includes in-depth data quality and integrity testing.

  • Understanding our backend systems. Foureyes is a big platform, and you’ll be responsible for learning all the ins and outs of it.

  • Mastering capabilities. The most important question to ask is “Is everything working how it’s supposed to?” In order to answer that, you need to have a nuanced understanding of what the expected behavior is.

  • Research. Whether via reading our external knowledge base, diving into internal documentation, digging through old JIRAs, or thumbing through Slack threads, effective research is essential to finding the right answer.

  • Collaborate. You will work closely not only with your team, but with many teams within the company. This includes working closely with developers to debug issues.

Qualifications

Knowledge, Skills & Abilities:

  • You are comfortable and effective communicating with technical co-workers (you aren’t a developer yourself, but you understand enough to have productive conversations to solve problems and move issues forward)

  • You have experience working with code (SQL, CSS, or Javascript a plus)

  • You are an analytical problem solver, you love digging into an in-depth problem to get to the root issue and coming up with creative solutions

  • You have strong communication skills

  • You are known for your attention to detail. You spot the error or data discrepancy that most people miss

  • You are comfortable working with large data sets

  • You are a quick learner

  • You are highly organized

Bonus if you have experience working with a software engineering team (or similar technical team)

Education and Experience:

●  Minimum 3 years of experience problem solving with large data sets in a professional environment

●  CSS, SQL or JavaScript experience a plus

Location: This position is remote. We are hiring in the following states: AZ, CA, CO, CT, FL, IA, ID, KY, MA, MD, MI, MN, NV, NH, NJ, OH, OR, PA, SC, TN, TX, VA, and WA.

Salary Range: $65,000 - $75,000
