Role Overview
We are seeking an experienced Oracle Accounting Hub Cloud Service (AHCS) / Account Reconciliation Cloud Service (ARCS) Application Support Engineer to provide operational support and continuous improvement across our Oracle Finance Cloud landscape.
The successful candidate will be responsible for ensuring the stability, availability, and performance of the Oracle Superledger ecosystem, supporting business-critical financial close activities while maintaining operational excellence across Finance applications. Working closely with Finance, IT, Integration, and Oracle Cloud teams, this role plays a key part in delivering a reliable, accurate, and efficient financial close process.
Key Responsibilities
Financial Close Support
Provide operational support during monthly, quarterly, and annual financial close activities by:
- Supporting end-to-end month-end close operations across Oracle AHCS and ARCS.
- Monitoring and executing AHCS accounting and allocation processes.
- Supporting ARCS reconciliation activities and resolving reconciliation exceptions.
- Troubleshooting journal creation failures, accounting rule issues, and financial processing errors.
- Monitoring financial interfaces and ensuring successful completion of integrations.
- Performing close-cycle health checks and production readiness validation.
- Coordinating closely with Finance teams to resolve issues within agreed service levels.
- Participating in extended support during critical financial close periods.
Application Support & BAU Operations
Provide Level 2 and Level 3 production support for:
- Oracle Accounting Hub Cloud Service (AHCS)
- Oracle Account Reconciliation Cloud Service (ARCS)
- Oracle Fusion ERP Financials
- Oracle Integration Cloud (OIC)
- General Ledger accounting processes
Key responsibilities include:
- Incident investigation and resolution

System Monitoring & Operational Stability
Maintain the stability and availability of production systems through proactive monitoring of:

Responsibilities include:
- Performing proactive health checks
- Identifying and resolving production issues before business impact

Configuration & Continuous Improvement
Support ongoing business and system enhancements including:
- Accounting rule updates
- Mapping and configuration changes
- Reconciliation profile maintenance
- Matching rule configuration
- Data source maintenance
- Security validation
- Functional configuration updates
- System parameter maintenance
- Documentation updates
Ensure all changes comply with organizational standards for:

Integration Support
Support integrations between Oracle Finance applications and enterprise systems including:
- Oracle ERP Cloud
- Oracle Fusion Financials
- Oracle Integration Cloud (OIC)

Responsibilities include:
- Interface monitoring

Change & Release Support
Partner with project and development teams to support:
- Change Requests
- System enhancements

Support deployment activities by:
- Reviewing business requirements
- Performing impact assessments
- Validating configuration changes
- Verifying production stability after releases
Incident & Problem Management
- Resolve production incidents within agreed Service Level Agreements (SLAs).
- Perform Root Cause Analysis (RCA) for recurring issues.
- Implement preventive actions to improve application stability.
- Maintain documentation of known errors and workarounds.
- Coordinate with Oracle Support for product defects and service requests.
- Manage Severity 1 and Severity 2 production incidents.
- Participate in incident reviews and post-implementation reviews.
Stakeholder Management
Collaborate effectively with:

Requirements
Experience
- 4–8+ years of ERP Application Support experience.
- Minimum 3 years supporting Oracle Cloud Financial applications.
- Hands-on experience with Oracle AHCS and/or Oracle ARCS.
- Experience supporting Finance production environments.
- Strong understanding of month-end financial close activities.
- Experience managing production incidents in business-critical systems.
- Experience supporting Oracle Finance integrations.
- Knowledge of ITIL Service Management processes.
- Experience working within global support teams.
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Finance, Accounting, or a related discipline.
- Oracle Cloud Financials certification preferred.
- Oracle Accounting Hub Cloud certification desirable.
- ITIL Foundation certification is an advantage.
