This is a remote position.

Key Responsibilities

•          Design and develop a full stack web application to replace legacy spreadsheet/application-based planning tools, based on requirements captured through structured discovery and requirement-gathering sessions.

•          Build responsive, intuitive front-end interfaces using React.js and Next.js that support filtering by relevant business dimensions (e.g., category, geography, channel, customer), with drill-down and roll-up capability across hierarchy levels.

•          Develop UI components for editable data grids/tables where users can input business parameters and business metrics, with changes trickling down/up through dependent levels in real time.

•          Build and integrate REST APIs to connect the front-end application with backend data pipelines, the enterprise data platform, and analytical and machine learning model outputs.

•          Develop and deploy the application leveraging native cloud platform capabilities for hosting, compute, and data access, minimizing dependency on external app hosting infrastructure.

•          Integrate with Unity Catalog, Delta Lake tables, and MLOps platform services to support model version/configuration selection, scenario/what-if analysis, and controlled re-runs from within the application.

•          Build reporting and dashboard views within or alongside the application covering variance analysis, historical actual vs. plan performance, and operational dashboards.

•          Implement role-based access control (RBAC) to support multiple personas/user types as the tool scales from a single power user to a broader user audience, including differentiated update/view permissions.

•          Collaborate with UI/UX designers to translate wireframes and requirements from design workshops into functioning, polished application screens.

•          Participate in requirement workshops, design walkthroughs, and iterative review/sign-off cycles with business stakeholders and the delivery team.

•          Write clean, maintainable, well-documented code; participate in code reviews, unit testing, and QA cycles prior to deliverable submission.

•          Support troubleshooting, performance tuning, and defect resolution across environments (dev/test/prod) during build and hypercare phases.

•          Contribute to technical documentation, including application architecture notes and operational runbook content relevant to the app layer.

•          Develop, deploy, and manage the application using Azure App Service (Azure Web Apps), ensuring scalability, security, and high availability.
