WHAT YOU’LL DO:

  • Period-end close activities including assigned journal entries, reconciliations, and other duties in accordance with company timelines and schedule.
  • Fixed asset proposals, reconciliations, and roll-forward analysis.
  • Manage end-to-end Goods and Services Tax (GST) compliance.
  • Prepare and issue Cost-Plus Invoices for intercompany transactions, ensuring compliance with transfer pricing agreements and applicable markup requirements.
  • Manage monthly accruals by analyzing incoming data, preparing asset and liability journal entries, and posting to accounting books.
  • Serve as a primary point of contact for the India Statutory, Tax, and GST audits and respond to inquiries in a timely and professional manner.
  • Support management in completing special projects and ad-hoc tasks as assigned
  • Work with local consultants for statutory filings
  • Maintain local as well as US GAAP books.
  • Balance Sheet and Income Statement account reconciliations, including flux analysis.

YOUR QUALIFICATIONS:

  • Bachelor’s degree in accounting, Finance, or a related field
  • Strong communication skills both written and verbal
  • Experience working with ERP systems and financial tools such as NetSuite, Coupa, and Blackline is a major plus.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Excel, including advanced skills.
  • 4 to 6 years of core GL accounting experience, preferably within a multinational company (MNC) or a fast-growing global finance team.
  • Self-motivated professional with strong multitasking skills, with the ability to overlap with the US team working hours for seamless collaboration.
  • Ability to adhere to deadlines in a fast-paced environment without losing accuracy or attention to detail.
