Job description

It's fun to work in a company where people truly BELIEVE in what they're doing!

Fullsteam is a leading provider of vertical software and embedded payments technology dedicated to helping businesses flourish by providing their customers with seamless experiences. With a dynamic and growing team of over 1,900 employees, we are committed to driving innovation and delivering best-in-class software and payment solutions that empower small and medium-sized businesses across numerous industries. Our purpose is to help our customers grow their businesses and delight their customers. Join us and be a part of a forward-thinking company that values growth, excellence, and the success of our clients.

The Technical Product Owner will own the day-to-day product direction for RBCloud, working directly with customers and the business to translate needs into a clear, prioritized backlog. This is a hands-on role that bridges customer and business input with engineering execution, paired with enough process and reporting discipline to keep delivery predictable and stakeholders informed.

This role requires strong backlog and prioritization discipline paired with enough technical fluency to work credibly with engineering. You will own story writing, prioritization, and acceptance criteria, coordinate release readiness across support, sales, and customer success, and serve as the primary business and customer advocate throughout the development process.

Primary Responsibilities:

  • Own and maintain the RBCloud product backlog: story writing, prioritization, and sprint planning in partnership with Engineering
  • Define and maintain user stories, acceptance criteria, and definitions of done to enable consistent, high-quality delivery
  • Serve as the primary business and customer advocate within the development process, ensuring the team stays aligned to the highest-value work
  • Work directly with customers and business stakeholders to gather requirements, validate priorities, and close the loop on feedback
  • Coordinate release readiness across support, sales, and customer success
  • Facilitate core product meetings - backlog grooming, sprint planning, release planning
  • Maintain a roadmap that reflects current priorities and is easy for stakeholders to track
  • Track delivery metrics (throughput, cycle time, capacity) to spot risk early and report progress to the business
  • Partner with cross-functional teams (sales, finance, support) to support alignment where it directly unblocks delivery

Skills & Competencies

  • Comfortable working directly with customers and translating their input into clear technical requirements
  • Strong backlog and prioritization discipline; experience writing stories and acceptance criteria that engineers can execute against without heavy back-and-forth
  • Enough technical fluency to have credible conversations with engineering about tradeoffs, sequencing, and feasibility
  • Clear, direct communicator — comfortable running meetings and giving stakeholders a straight answer
  • Organized and process-minded

Minimum Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in Business, Technology, or related work experience
  • 4+ years as a Product Owner, technical PM, or similar role working directly with an engineering team
  • Direct experience owning a backlog and writing stories/acceptance criteria
  • Comfortable engaging directly with customers or business stakeholders
  • Basic familiarity with delivery metrics and their financial/business implications

Salary Range:

105,000-120,000 USD
