The territory for this position will be the following states: Ohio, Pennsylvania (excluding Philadelphia), West Virginia, and Southeast Michigan. This job is based in Columbus, OH. However, remote work in other locations in the territory ideally near a major metropolitan airport will be considered.

 

The targeted cash compensation package (Base, Commissions and Bonus) for this position is $250,000 to $300,000. There is potential to exceed this amount based on experience and performance in the role. In addition to a generous 401k program, Arthrex contributes to a non-qualified long-term bonus plan funded entirely by Arthrex on your behalf after one year of employment.

The successful candidate will build relationships with key customers, sales agencies, and internal departments to help drive our strategies and continued market growth. Excellent interpersonal, presentation, communication, and leadership skills along with seven years or more of related experience and a bachelor’s degree are essential for this position. Main Objective:

The Regional Sales Manager, I&R will be responsible for overseeing and managing the Imaging and Resection product sales performance, training, and other activities with the sales force, surgeons, and accounts within his/her respective region.

 

Essential Duties and Responsibilities:

  • Implement sales strategy for agency Capital Equipment and Consumables business. Follow up with agencies frequently to ensure strategy is being executed. When needed identify weaknesses and offer evidence-based solutions.
  • Ensure agencies are properly structured to maximize growth and competency of product line. This generally includes assisting with recruitment of experienced Capital product specific personnel and deploying Arthrex training programs.
  • Collaborate regularly with Arthrex Regional Management team to achieve organizational objectives across product portfolio,
  • Launch Imaging and Resection new products within region.
  • Present Synergy imaging and resection products as well as bundled strategy at high level meetings. This also includes communicating with high level admin and IT regarding imaging product HIPAA compliance, integration, and networking capabilities.
  • Govern Imaging & Resection product pricing structure and qualifying discounts as they relate to product bundling.
  • Assisting representatives with trialing and closing activities at key accounts and reporting back to agencies on representative sales readiness as it relates to Imaging and Resection.
  • Creatively building custom solutions to maximize opportunity and business impact.
  • Communicating agency focus and structure as it relates to Imaging and Resection to North American Director of Sales I&R, Regional Director, Senior Director of Sales East/West, and VP of Sales.
  • Communicating product performance to product management and North American Director of Sales while recommending product line enhancements.
  • Collecting key competitive information and ensuring that knowledge drives both sales effectiveness and product development direction.
  • Coaching, teaching, and when necessary, directing agency personnel via conference calls, virtual meetings, and in person visits on products/sales strategy/competitive info.
  • Travel up to 75% of the time.

 

Education and Experience:

  • Bachelor's degree required.
  • 7+ years of related experience in endoscopy and/or arthroscopy and/or power instruments is required.
  • A minimum of 7 years’ sales experience with related orthopedic products is required.

 

Knowledge and Skill Requirements/Specialized Courses and/or Training:

  • Willing to work with cadaver specimens.
  • Knowledge of surgical endoscopy and related products.
  • Experience working with finance programs and partners.
  • Skilled in working with different functions and effectively coordinates their activities to achieve desired results.
  • Excellent listening skills, including the ability to identify and isolate customers concerns or objections, in addition to excellent written and oral communication skills.
  • Strong relationship building skills desired.

 

Machine, Tools, and/or Equipment Skills:

Microsoft Office, PC/Mac and various and specialized software. Sales tracking systems, Microsoft Teams, Salesforce or other CRM systems experience a plus.
