At JobLeads, we help millions of job seekers find their next career step. Our Content & Insights team builds the stories, data studies, and content assets that make JobLeads a trusted authority in the job search space. We're scaling our digital PR and link building engine significantly, and outreach is the muscle that turns great content into visibility, authority, and growth. 

Your Role
This is a hands-on execution role. You'll run multiple outreach campaigns in parallel and make them land: qualifying targets, personalising pitches, sending sequences, following up, and closing placements. You'll work alongside our Digital PR & Content Manager as well as Content & Insights Lead and together, you'll figure out the most efficient way to earn high-quality links and mentions at scale as well as campaign timelines, priorities, and quarterly planning. 


What You'll Be Doing 

• Promoting our data studies, statistics hubs, and digital PR stories to journalists, bloggers, and publishers after launch 
• Running several link building campaigns in parallel: listicle inclusions ("Best job boards" and similar roundups), link insertions, unlinked brand mention reclamation, broken link building, and directory placements 
• Researching and qualifying outreach targets: assessing site quality, relevance, and authority so we only pursue links worth having 
• Verifying contact details for outreach prospects, and occasionally sourcing them where our tooling doesn't – accuracy here makes or breaks a campaign 
• Writing and personalising outreach emails, managing sequences and follow-ups, and negotiating placements 
• Building and maintaining relationships with recurring journalists, editors, and webmasters so every campaign starts warmer than the last 
• Tracking pipeline, response rates, and earned links; reporting against quarterly link targets 
• Working with our outreach tech stack (email discovery, sequencing, media databases, monitoring tools) and our in-house AI tooling – and helping us make the whole workflow faster and smarter 
• Coordinating day-to-day with the Digital PR & Content Manager & Sr. Content & Insights Lead on angles and target lists, as well as timelines and campaign priorities 

• 2+ years of hands-on experience in outreach, link building, or digital PR – you've personally sent campaigns and won placements, not just managed them 
• A track record of earning links or media pickups from quality websites 
• Excellent written English and the ability to personalise a pitch quickly without losing quality 
• Strong research skills and high attention to detail when qualifying sites and verifying contacts 
• Comfort managing high volumes: multiple campaigns, hundreds of prospects, and disciplined follow-up without dropping threads 
• Familiarity with SEO principles and a white-hat mindset – you know the difference between earning a link and buying one, and you care about it 
• Self-organisation and persistence; outreach is a numbers game and you don't get discouraged by silence 
• Curiosity about AI tools and willingness to work AI-native – we automate everything that can be automated 

• Experience with outreach and PR tooling such as BuzzStream, Prowly, MuckRack, Cision, Pitchbox,  Hunter, or similar 
• Experience creating and sending out press releases 
• Working knowledge of Ahrefs or comparable SEO tools (DR, referring domains, anchor analysis) 
• Experience with journalist request platforms (Qwoted, Featured, HARO) 
• Familiarity with the careers, HR-tech, or job search industry 
• Experience working in an in-house PR team with international collaboration or in an agency 
• Additional European languages for outreach in non-English markets 

• Real ownership of the outreach pipeline from day one, with clear targets and the freedom to decide how to hit them
