Job Description

Manage the full project lifecycle from planning, design, development, testing, and implementation.
Coordinate with cross-functional teams such as program management, manufacturing, quality, supply chain, and design engineering to ensure project objectives are achieved.
Develop and maintain project plans, schedules, and budgets, ensuring projects are delivered on time and within cost targets.
Monitor project progress and performance, including schedule, cost, and technical deliverables.
Identify project risks and implement mitigation strategies to prevent delays or technical issues.
Prepare reports and communicate status updates to stakeholders and senior management.
Manage project documentation, proposals, and work statements as required for program execution.
Ensure compliance with engineering standards, quality requirements, and safety regulations (EHS).
Drive continuous improvement initiatives to improve engineering processes and project outcomes.


Required Skills/Qualifications

Bachelor’s degree in Engineering (Mechanical, Aerospace, Industrial, or related field).
4–5+ years of experience in project engineering, project management, or similar technical roles.
Knowledge of engineering development, manufacturing processes, and aerospace systems.
Strong analytical, communication, and coordination skills.


Preferred Qualifications

Proficient with software such as Primavera, Siemens NX, Solidworks and Microsoft Office (ie. MS Project)
Proven understanding of compliance and quality assurance guidelines and best practices
Courage to explore new ideas, learn new technologies, a proactive desire to learn
Passion for technology and creative mindset
PMP or ACP certified is a plus.

Onsite: Employees who are working in Onsite roles will work primarily onsite. This includes all production and maintenance employees, as they are essential to the development of our products.]

Hybrid: Employees who are working in Hybrid roles will work regularly both onsite and offsite. Ratio of time working onsite will be determined in partnership with your leader.

Remote: Employees who are working in Remote roles will work primarily offsite (from home). If you live within a reasonable commute of an RTX site with other colleagues you interact with, your manager will discuss whether there is a degree of onsite presence associated with this role.

Candidates will learn more about role type and current site status throughout the recruiting process. For onsite and hybrid roles, commuting to and from the assigned site is the employee’s personal responsibility.

Requires theoretical to advanced knowledge of work area typically obtained through University Degree combined with experience. Practical knowledge of RTX projects, programs
or systems with the ability to make enhancements and leverage in daily work.

Typically requires a University Degree or equivalent experience and minimum 2 years of prior relevant experience.

Engineering/Other Technical Positions:Typically requires a degree in Science, Technology, Engineering or Mathematics(STEM) and a minimum of 2 years of prior relevant experience unless prohibited by local laws/regulations.
