About the role

Ecclesiastical Planning Services, who are proudly part of Benefact Group, are looking for a Business Relationship Manager.

As a Business Relationship Manager, you will manage and grow a portfolio of strategically important Funeral Director Appointed Representatives, developing trusted and commercially successful partnerships that deliver sustainable business growth, strong sales performance and partner retention. The role provides strategic account leadership, regulatory oversight and business development support across some of EPSL's largest and most complex relationships.

What you'll be doing

  • Manage and grow key Funeral Director partner accounts based across South East, East Anglia, & East Midlands, building strong relationships that drive growth, retention and profitability.

  • Develop and deliver business and sales plans using performance data and market insights to maximise commercial results.

  • Maintain executive-level stakeholder relationships, proactively managing performance and addressing risks and opportunities.

  • Identify and support new business opportunities through prospecting, networking and referrals.

  • Promote adoption of Ecclesiastical Planning Services digital services to improve partner efficiency and customer outcomes.

  • Maintain accurate CRM records, pipeline management and reporting to support effective account oversight.

  • Work collaboratively across teams to deliver excellent service, share best practice and drive continuous improvement.

  • Represent professionally at partner meetings, industry events and networking activities, enhancing the company's reputation and brand.

What you'll need to have

  • Ability to deliver training, coaching and presentations to partners and customers.

What makes you stand out

  • Good understanding of regulatory requirements, governance standards and customer outcome expectations within a regulated environment.

  • Any previous experience within the funeral sector would be advantageous
