Real Estate
The Real Estate (RE) arm of GIC invests in real estate and real estate-related assets outside of Singapore and has one of the largest and broadest real estate portfolios amongst all institutions.


Our real estate assets cover over 40 countries and span multiple property sectors, including traditional office, retail, residential, industrial, and hospitality; and newer economy sectors such as data centres, life sciences, and healthcare properties. We invest across the real estate capital structure in equity, senior and junior debt. Through active asset management, GIC further generates income, and enhances the market value of its assets through tenant management, market positioning, leasing, and capital improvements.

 

We are looking for an Executive Assistant in our Shanghai Real Estate team.

 

What will you do as an Executive Assistant
•Schedule and arrange meetings with internal and external counterparties, responding promptly to last-minute requests, changes and cancellations across email, phone and instant-messaging channels
•Arranging business trips, which include booking of flights, accommodation and coordinating travel itineraries
•Undertaking administrative duties which include administering claims, managing office and pantry supplies, handling domestic/international courier, filing/printing/scanning documents, and other standard administrative matters
•Organizing team, departmental social events and engagement initiatives, including vendor sourcing and management
•Providing back-up coverage to the other administrative assistants
•Prepare and co-ordinate signing of documents by senior team members
•Cooperate and coordinate with global offices
•When required, serve as the first point of contact at the Shanghai office reception, greeting visitors, clients and vendors, and ensuring a professional front-desk experience
 
What qualifications or skills should you possess in this role?
•    Ability to use the standard suite of Microsoft tools is a pre-requisite
•    Proven experience as an administrative assistant providing comprehensive secretarial and administrative support to a team of professionals
•    Strong interpersonal capabilities, and good verbal and written communication skills
•    A collaborative and a dynamic team player 
•    Demonstrates maturity and professionalism in managing relationships and handling challenging situations
•    Highly organized and detail-oriented with effective time management skills to prioritize and meet engagement deadlines
•    Ability to prioritize, multitask, and thrive in a hectic, fast paced global work environment
•    Proactive, flexible, and willing to learn and grow beyond the job description
•    Professional fluency in both English and Mandarin (spoken and written) to support local and cross-border communication
