Job description

Position Summary:

  • This role leads the design, development, and activation of knowledge management tools and learning experiences at Client. It combines instructional design, knowledge transfer strategy, UX design, and SharePoint site creation to build the foundational KM infrastructure and enable employees and leaders to effectively capture, share, and apply critical knowledge.
  • This role blends KM, UX, L&D, and digital design.

Responsibilities:
Knowledge Management SharePoint (Primary)
  • Design, build, and maintain the enterprise Knowledge Management SharePoint site.
  • Translate KM strategy into user-centered layouts, workflows, and tools.
  • Create pages, templates, and resources that define KM processes, best practices, and use cases.
  • Gather stakeholder feedback and integrate inputs from Learning and Talent systems.
  • Partner with Communications to develop activation, rollout, and adoption plans.

Knowledge Transfer Learning (E-learning + Frameworks)
  • Develop Knowledge Transfer 101 e-learning (storyboard, design, build).
  • Turn KM principles into simple, actionable learning experiences.
  • Build templates, guides, worksheets, and practical resources.
  • Translate the competency model into behavioral examples and practice-based learning.
  • Ensure the program equips leaders and employees to identify risks, document critical knowledge, and execute transfer plans.

SOP/Playbook Creation
  • Create a KM/KT playbook, toolkit, and quick reference guides.
  • Turn the e-learning into a practical "at-a-glance” resource for non-learners.
  • Develop step-by-step process documentation, checklists, role expectations, and how-to guides.

Talent Management SharePoint Redesign
  • Redesign the TM site on the HR Hub using modern UX and information architecture.
  • Ensure integration with the broader Talent Management ecosystem.
  • Coordinate messaging, workflows, and content with key partners.
  • Support change management and adoption.

Requirements:
Knowledge Management & Content Design
  • Experience defining KM processes, taxonomies, templates, and systems.
  • Ability to translate complex knowledge into simple, actionable tools.

Instructional Design & E-learning Development
  • Strong skill in creating micro-learning, e-learning, job aids, and playbooks.
  • Experience with learning design principles and adult learning methodologies.
  • Ability to design competency-based content and scenario-driven learning.

SharePoint Design & UX/UI
  • Proven ability to design SharePoint sites (structure, navigation, content layouts).
  • Familiarity with modern SharePoint web parts, templates, site architecture.
  • Skill in creating user-friendly, visually intuitive digital experiences.

Project & Stakeholder Management
  • Ability to gather requirements, synthesize feedback, and translate needs into designs.
  • Strong communication and facilitation skills.
  • Experience working with HR, Communications, Talent, and cross-functional teams.

Communication & Facilitation
  • Ability to create clear, simple content and explain complex ideas visually and verbally.
  • Strong interviewing and knowledge-capture skills.

Systems Thinking
  • Ability to understand interconnected workflows across Talent, KM, and Learning.
  • Skill in designing solutions that fit into a larger ecosystem.

Change Management & Activation
  • Experience creating launch plans, messaging, guides, and adoption strategies.

Preferred Experience:
  • 5-8+ years in Knowledge Management, Instructional Design, Learning Experience Design, Organizational Development, or related fields.
  • Demonstrated experience building SharePoint sites for enterprise use.
  • Experience designing e-learning in tools such as Articulate Storyline/Rise, Adobe Captivate, or similar.
  • Experience developing SOPs, playbooks, or toolkits.
  • Background in talent management or HR technology ecosystem preferred.
  • Experience with UX/UI or information architecture is a strong plus.
  • Experience applying system thinking to complex organizational processes.
