As a trusted advisor to the Executive Team and Remuneration Committee, you will influence critical business decisions, modernize the reward experience, and ensure Weir attracts, retains, and motivates world-class talent across a complex global organization.

Why choose Weir:

It depends on us constantly reinventing, quickly adapting and continually finding better, faster, more sustainable ways to access the resources it needs to thrive. And it depends on each of us doing the best work of our lives. It’s a big challenge – but it is exciting.

An opportunity to grow your own way: Everything moves fast in the dynamic world of Weir. This creates opportunities for us to take on new challenges, explore new areas, learn, progress and excel. Best of all, there is no set path that our people must take. Instead, everyone is given the support and freedom to tailor-make their own career and do the best work of their lives.

Feel empowered to be yourself and belong: Weir is a welcoming, inclusive place, where each individual’s contribution is recognized and all employees are encouraged to innovate, collaborate and be themselves. We continually focus on people and their wellbeing. We believe in fairness and choose to be honest, transparent and authentic in everything we do.

What You’ll Do:

  • Executive Reward & Remuneration Leadership: Lead the design and governance of executive compensation programs, including annual and long-term incentives, share plans, and remuneration frameworks. Serve as a trusted advisor to the Executive Team and Remuneration Committee, ensuring reward decisions support business strategy, shareholder expectations, and long-term value creation.
  • Global Reward Strategy: Shape and deliver Weir's global reward strategy across compensation, incentives, all-employee share plans, benefits, mobility, and recognition. Lead the continued development and shaping of a compelling reward proposition that attracts, retains, and motivates top talent while aligning with business priorities and performance outcomes.
  • Reward Transformation & Technology: Drive the modernization of reward through data, technology, and innovation. Partner with HR Technology to enhance Workday capabilities, improve the employee experience, and explore AI-driven solutions that increase efficiency, insight, and scalability.
  • Reward Governance & Compliance: Ensure all reward programs are delivered with strong governance, regulatory compliance, and operational excellence. Lead PLC reward reporting, statutory disclosures, and remuneration reporting while maintaining the highest standards of integrity and transparency.
  • Benefits, Mobility & Total Rewards: Oversee the full spectrum of total rewards, including benefits, retirement programs, global mobility, job architecture, and reward benchmarking. Develop competitive and sustainable programs that enhance employee wellbeing, support inclusion, and strengthen Weir's employee value proposition.
  • Leadership & Strategic Partnership: Lead the Reward Centre of Expertise, setting direction, building capability, and establishing a high-performing advisory function. Collaborate with senior leaders across the business to influence people strategy, drive organizational performance, and position reward as a key enabler of business success.
  • Safety First: Demonstrate 100% commitment to our zero harm behaviors in support of our drive towards developing a world class safety culture.

What You'll Bring:

  • Proven experience leading total rewards, or compensation functions within a complex, global organization, with expertise across executive remuneration, compensation, global benefits programmes, global share plans, incentives, global mobility, and reward governance.
  • Strong commercial acumen with the ability to align reward strategy to business priorities, influence decision-making, and deliver measurable outcomes.
  • Experience partnering with senior executives, HR leaders, and external advisers, with the credibility to influence and advise stakeholders at all levels.
  • Demonstrated success operating in a global matrix environment, balancing strategic leadership with hands-on execution and delivery.
  • Proven experience of UK PLC Board level Remuneration Committee management and a track record of managing executive reward governance, reporting, disclosures and stakeholder management in a UK environment.
  • Experience of leading a Reward function to support and enable change programmes, including corporate actions, integrations and business transformation.
  • An inclusive and collaborative leadership style, with exceptional relationship-building, communication, and coaching skills.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving capabilities, with the ability to use data, insight, and sound judgment to drive decisions and continuous improvement.
  • Adaptability, resilience, and intellectual curiosity, with a passion for innovation and transforming the employee reward experience.
