About the Role

As a Renewals Advocacy Manager at Veeam, you will serve as the strategic lead for Customer Advocacy, Executive Engagement, and Voice of the Customer initiatives across the Global Renewals organization. This is a Renewals-scoped extension of Veeam's broader Customer Advocacy model - applying the same discipline of executive alignment, cross-functional orchestration, and evidence-based follow-through, focused specifically on the renewal moment and the retention outcomes that depend on it.

Reporting to the VP of Global Renewals Account Management, you will ensure customer feedback is translated into meaningful business action, executive customer commitments are executed, and strategic initiatives that improve customer experience, retention, and long-term growth are successfully delivered. Serving as a trusted partner to Renewals leadership, you will coordinate executive priorities resulting from customer engagements and act as the central point of coordination to ensure customer commitments are translated into cross-functional execution and measurable business outcomes.

This role partners closely with Sales, Customer Success, Product, Marketing, Support, Professional Services, Operations, and Finance to ensure the Voice of the Customer is reflected in business decisions and operational execution at renewal time.

What You’ll Do

  • Own executive engagement for Renewals: partner with the VP of Global Renewals on strategic customer meetings, Executive Business Reviews (EBRs), executive sponsor engagements, and renewal strategy discussions.
  • Drive accountability and follow-through: capture customer commitments, executive decisions, risks, and action items, ensuring cross-functional ownership, timely follow-through, and executive visibility.
  • Coordinate executive engagement plans: for strategic enterprise accounts and monitor progress against agreed objectives, driving accountability across internal stakeholders so customer commitments are fulfilled and communicated effectively.
  • Lead executive-ready communications: prepare executive customer briefings, business reviews, presentations, and leadership communications supporting customer initiatives and strategic priorities.
  • Own the Renewals Voice of the Customer: collect, analyze, and communicate customer feedback, insights, and executive input to influence business priorities at renewal time.
  • Convert feedback into measurable action: partner with Product, Support, Customer Success, Sales, and Renewals leadership to ensure customer feedback at Renewals results in measurable action, continuous improvement, and an enhanced customer experience.
  • Institutionalize tracking and visibility: track customer advocacy initiatives, ensure commitments made to customers are delivered, and maintain executive-level visibility into customer sentiment, advocacy initiatives, and strategic customer priorities.
  • Drive strategic initiatives: that improve customer retention, customer experience, and operational excellence across the Renewals motion.

What You’ll Bring

  • 8–12 years of experience in enterprise SaaS or software.
  • Experience partnering with executive leadership (VP level and above).
  • Strong customer-facing experience managing enterprise and strategic customer relationships, ideally in a renewals, retention, or account management context.
  • Exceptional executive communication, presentation, and relationship management skills.
  • Strong commercial acumen with a solid understanding of enterprise software business models and customer retention strategies.
  • Highly analytical and data-driven, with experience leveraging customer insights, NPS, and business metrics to influence decision-making.
  • Demonstrated ability to independently drive initiatives, manage competing priorities, and consistently deliver results in a fast-paced environment.
  • Prior experience in a Renewals, Customer Success, or Customer Advocacy organization with direct exposure to renewal-cycle dynamics.
  • Track record driving cross-functional alignment (Sales, Product, Marketing, Finance) on shared definitions of customer health, success criteria, and accountability.

Ideal Candidate

The ideal candidate is a commercially minded strategic operator with a passion for customer advocacy and execution excellence within the Renewals motion. They have a proven track record of partnering with executive leadership, engaging directly with enterprise customers, and driving complex cross-functional initiatives to successful outcomes.

They are equally comfortable facilitating an Executive Business Review with a Fortune 500 customer, leading a strategic renewals initiative across multiple organizations, analyzing NPS and customer insights to influence executive decisions, or preparing executive presentations for senior leadership. This individual is highly proactive, customer-centric, and execution-focused.
