THE ROLE

This is a team leader role that sits within DigiCert’s Product team and reports to Chief Product Officer. The Product Operations team bridges the gap between strategy and execution. We do so by bringing operational planning and rigor, driving strategic focus, and acting on risks to our growth. Product ops is ultimately responsible for ensuring product teams are held accountable to their outcomes and ensuring the product organization is set up to scale consistently and with low friction. VP of product operations provides the glue (via streamlined systems and processes) between product team and all cross functional team (such as sales, marketing, engineering, support etc. You will be responsible for managing a team of about 5 individuals. You will work closely with the Product, GTM, and Finance teams to enable data-driven decision-making.

The ideal candidate for this role has extensive experience in strategy and business operation roles at highest levels of organization. You love solving new and difficult problems and leading from the front line. You not only know how to analyze and mine data, but you are driven by finding out the ‘so what’ from your analysis. You are a combination of strategy, operations, and business leader with excellent communication skills. This role requires strong analytical skills, a team- oriented disposition and a structured approach to solving problems and managing data. We are also looking for someone with strong business skills.

 

WHAT YOU WILL DO

  • Analyze Data into Insights for the Product Team - Data enables the product team to make wise, informed decisions. In a growing product organization, a product ops team can lay the foundation for a successful, data-driven team of product managers.
    • Analyze Product P&L level data for the key products in our portfolio and understand the ARR, new ACV, pipeline for the products.
    • Drive insights about product usage based on analytics embedded within the product and draw insights on customers/ markets
    • Understand the analytics around the shopping cart experience and determine implications from abandonment rate, adoption rate, and other funnel data.
    • Analyze complex business problems and issues using data to provide meaningful insights to decision- makers.
    • Present data and analytics in a comprehensible manner and prepare content for executive reviews.
  • Manage technical and strategic partnerships – Our product suite often uses (or integrates with) 3rd party products. You will be responsible for managing those relationships and for creating business plans for new partner/ business opportunities.
  • Lead pricing strategy and operations – Work with product managers and GTM teams to device pricing, packaging strategy, plans and then analyze the data from field on regular basis
  • New product introduction process – Run end to end process for New product introduction
  • End of Life Process – Manage transition from legacy to newer products and services
  • Drive Product Led Growth (PLG) Process
  • Drive Strategy initiatives
  • Help M&A process
  • Standardize communications
  • Enable Product team to run more experiments
  • Be a thought leader and trusted advisor; facilitating communication between product and the business as needed.

WHAT YOU WILL HAVE

  • Strategic as well as a strong operational mindset
  • 15+ years of experience across business strategy and operations
  • Product Analytics experience
  • Strong communication skills, able to use qualitative and quantitative data, transform that information to a visually pleasing and standalone presentation and confidently present to senior and executive leaders.
  • Strong analytical skills with proficiency in accessing and manipulating data, and then pulling insights from that
  • data.
  • Demonstrated ability to understand and explain complex ideas.
  • Self-motivated, detail oriented, independent, organized, and proactive, highly responsive, flexible and adaptable when working across multiple team.
  • Expertise with Excel & PowerPoint required.
  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Statistics, Engineering, Business, or related discipline or data analytics related background.
  • Preferred – Business degree
  • Preferred – Consulting experience

Compensation Transparency:  

The annualized base salary range for this position is outlined below. 

Each candidate’s compensation offer will be determined based on factors including experience, skills, qualifications, job duties, business needs, and location. For roles that include additional compensation components, total compensation may include base pay, bonus, equity, or other incentives.

Base Salary
$250$290 USD
