We are looking for an experienced enablement professional to develop scalable training, content, and resources for Ciena’s partner ecosystem. This role will help partner-facing teams simplify complex topics, deliver consistent enablement, and improve how partner programs are supported at scale.

How You Will Contribute
Reporting to the Senior Director of Global Partner Programs, you will build clear, modular enablement materials for sales and technical audiences; improve how enablement is created and delivered; and collaborate with cross-functional teams to keep content accurate, current, and aligned to business priorities.
Key Responsibilities
Enablement Content and Curriculum: Design scalable toolkits, learning paths, and reusable training materials for partner-facing sales and technical audiences.
Sales and Technical Enablement: Create clear, audience-appropriate content that helps partner-facing teams explain value, positioning, and technical concepts effectively.
Internal Enablement Support: Provide coaching, guidance, and reusable resources that help internal teams deliver consistent, high-quality partner enablement at scale.
Enablement Innovation and Tool Adoption: Identify and apply practical tools, including AI-enabled capabilities, to improve content creation, planning, enablement quality, and delivery efficiency.
Content Resource Support: Provide templates, guidance, and reusable materials that help scale enablement across the partner ecosystem.
Cross-Functional Collaboration: Work with product, technical, marketing, and partner-facing teams to keep materials accurate, current, and aligned with business priorities.
Content Management and Improvement: Maintain an organized enablement asset library, refresh content as business needs evolve, and use adoption, feedback, and outcomes to improve materials over time.

The Must Haves
Bachelor’s degree in Science/Engineering or a related field; relevant technical certifications a plus.
5–8 years’ experience creating sales, technical, or instructional enablement content for complex communications, networking, technology, or managed service offerings.
Experience using AI-enabled and digital tools to create enablement assets, improve productivity, and support adoption.
Strong understanding of optical networking, communications services, managed services, or partner-led technology offerings.
Proven ability to translate complex technical solutions into clear, modular enablement assets, with strong content design, writing, and curriculum-development skills.
Experience in a train-the-trainer, instructional design, or enablement-coaching capacity.
Strong project management skills with the ability to prioritize and deliver multiple enablement initiatives simultaneously.
Comfortable working across a global, matrixed organization with diverse cross-functional stakeholders.

The USA salary range for this position, in the USA is: $115,500 - $184,500.00 USD

Pay ranges at Ciena are designed to accommodate variations in knowledge, skills, experience, market conditions, and locations, reflecting our diverse products, industries, and lines of business. Non-Sales employees may be eligible for a discretionary incentive bonus, while Sales employees may be eligible for a sales commission.
