Certara is hiring a Enterprise Account Manager (EAM) in EMEA/UK to lead software growth representing our full software portfolio. This is a strategic, high-impact role responsible for driving new revenue and  expanding usage within existing accounts to ensure holistic support across key pharmaceutical and biotech customers.

 

This role offers the opportunity to work across a wide range of innovative therapeutic areas, helping clients accelerate development and regulatory success using Certara’s predictive science platforms. You’ll collaborate with a global team of scientists, product strategists, and client success professionals - all while owning the commercial strategy for your region.

Responsibilities:
  • Strategic Account Leadership
    • Manage a portfolio of life science accounts headquartered or operating in EMEA
    • Develop and execute territory and account plans that drive adoption, renewal, and expansion.
    • Align closely with the EMEA Account Manager to ensure clients receive integrated value across Certara’s offerings.
  • Client Engagement & Sales Execution
    • Lead consultative sales cycles with scientific, operational, and executive stakeholders.
    • Build strong relationships across R&D, DMPK, Clinical Pharm, Regulatory, and Procurement functions.
    • Present tailored solutions and lead negotiations from discovery through contract signature.
  • New Opportunity Development
    • Identify and engage new accounts or divisions with unmet needs in modeling, simulation, or data management.
    • Translate client goals into tailored software solutions in collaboration with Certara experts.
  • Cross-functional Collaboration
    • Coordinate with Certara's solution specialists, marketing, science teams, and client success managers.
    • Provide market feedback to inform product and portfolio strategy.
  • Reporting & Forecasting
    • Maintain accurate CRM hygiene (Salesforce.com) to support forecasting, pipeline management, and account health monitoring.
Qualifications:

Qualifications

  • 10+ years of commercial experience in the life sciences industry, including software-enabled platforms, services, or capital equipment.
  • Demonstrated success managing complex sales cycles in biotech/pharma accounts.
  • Ability to navigate scientific and executive discussions with credibility and commercial acumen.
  • Strong organizational, presentation, and negotiation skills.
  • Bachelor's degree required; advanced degree in life sciences or related field preferred.

Preferred Attributes

  • Experience in or exposure to enterprise software, SaaS platforms, or cloud-supported scientific solutions.
  • Familiarity with PK/PD, DMPK, modeling & simulation, or regulatory workflows a plus.
  • Growth mindset, team-first attitude, and passion for helping life science innovators succeed.
