Job Title: Azure Cloud Engineer
Location: 100% Remote (Continental United States)
Position Type: Full-time, Direct W2
Experience: 5+ Years
Salary Range: $100,000–$150,000 Annually

Job Summary:

We are seeking a skilled Azure Cloud Engineer to design, deploy, and manage secure, scalable, and highly available cloud solutions on Microsoft Azure. The ideal candidate will have expertise in Azure services, AKS, Terraform/Bicep, CI/CD, cloud security, automation, and Infrastructure as Code (IaC), with experience delivering enterprise-grade cloud platforms.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Design and implement secure, scalable Azure cloud solutions.
  • Develop Infrastructure as Code using Terraform, Bicep, or ARM templates.
  • Manage Azure Kubernetes Service (AKS), networking, storage, and identity services.
  • Build and maintain CI/CD pipelines using Azure DevOps or GitHub Actions.
  • Implement monitoring, security, automation, disaster recovery, and cost optimization.
  • Collaborate with development and DevOps teams to deliver cloud-native solutions.

Required Qualifications:

  • 5+ years of Azure cloud engineering experience.
  • Strong hands-on experience with Azure services, AKS, Terraform/Bicep/ARM, and Azure DevOps or GitHub Actions.
  • Experience with PowerShell, Bash, or Python scripting.
  • Strong knowledge of cloud security, monitoring, troubleshooting, and Infrastructure as Code.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Microsoft Azure Solutions Architect Expert or Azure DevOps Engineer certification.
  • Experience with hybrid cloud, service mesh technologies, FinOps, or regulated environments (HIPAA, PCI-DSS, SOC 2, FedRAMP).
