Job description

Are you ready to help build a better future, solve some of the hardest real-world problems using large scale distributed computing, concurrent and highly available microservices architecture in the cloud?

NVIDIA is looking for a Senior Cloud Software Engineer who can think out of the box, see the big picture, and be diligent to help redefine where GPU Cloud computing is headed. This essential role will give you an unrivaled opportunity to craft and deliver a new class of GPU service platforms for cloud computing in the up-and-coming fields of Deep Learning and AI. You will lead us into a new era of computing while working with the team to learn how we can tackle challenges in the cloud.

What you'll be doing: 

  • Design, build and implement SDKs and CLIs to interact with Cloud GPU Services.

  • Engage with partners, backend engineers and cross-functional teams around the globe to define requirements and implement solutions and improvements of new/existing products..

  • Help drive the underlying technology stack and the implementation methodology.

  • Ensure high-quality code through unit testing and integration testing.

  • Drive performance tuning, usability improvements and test automation

  • Support, maintain and document software functionality. 

 

What we need to see: 

  • Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science or related field (or equivalent experience).

  • 8+ years of experience in software development, with a focus on CLI/SDK tools.

  • Proficiency in programming languages such as Python, Go, or Rust.

  • Experience developing Python client code that works across Windows, Linux, and Mac 

  • Background with RESTful web services. 

  • Experience with Continuous Integration and Continuous Delivery. 

  • Excellent interpersonal and written communication skills required. 

 

Ways to stand out from the crowd: 

  • Knowledge of containerization technologies such as Docker and Kubernetes. 

  • Showcase relevant experience with cloud platforms

  • Open-source projects contribution

  • Demonstrate delivery of complex projects in previous roles. 

  • Experience with Code generation capability

Your base salary will be determined based on your location, experience, and the pay of employees in similar positions. The base salary range is 184,000 USD - 287,500 USD.

You will also be eligible for equity and benefits.
