Summary:

  • The Sr. IT Project Manager, Business Systems Modernization is responsible for leading complex, cross-functional technology initiatives that modernize core business systems and enable scalable Enterprise Systems capabilities. The role will support the Business Systems Modernization project, with emphasis on ERP, CRM, integration, identity, data, reporting, workflow, service management, vendor, and enterprise platform dependencies. This position plans, monitors, and drives the execution of strategic IT programs from discovery and requirements through deployment, stabilization, and operational handoff. The role serves as the focal point for communication across IT, business stakeholders, vendors, and executive sponsors, ensuring scope, timeline, risks, dependencies, decisions, and value delivery remain aligned with company processes, policies, quality standards, and modernization goals.
 
Minimum Qualifications
  • High School diploma or GED.
  • 5+ years of experience in IT project management leading and delivering strategic, high value technology projects and programs of varying size and complexity.
  • Significant experience delivering ERP and/or CRM implementations, upgrades, migrations, integrations, business process modernization, or related enterprise platform initiatives.
  • Experience managing cross-functional initiatives involving business systems, Enterprise Systems, vendors, technical delivery teams, business owners, security, operations, reporting, data, and support readiness.
  • Strong experience presenting to executive sponsors with demonstrated written and verbal communication skills for technical and non-technical staff at all levels of management internally and externally.
  • Must be able to travel up to 10%.
 
Preferred Qualifications
  • Professional certifications such as PMP, Scrum Master, Product Owner, or similar project delivery certification.
  • Direct experience supporting large-scale business systems modernization, ERP, CRM, HR, finance, service management, customer operations, or operations platform transformation initiatives.
  • Experience with enterprise integration, data migration, reporting, workflow automation, identity and access management, role-based access controls, compliance requirements, and operational handoff planning.
  • Expert user of Microsoft Excel or similar tools for ad hoc analysis, project tracking, dependency management, and executive reporting.
  • Proficient with Atlassian Suite including Jira and Confluence.
  • Experience working with implementation partners, managed services providers, software vendors, and internal platform owners.
