Develop Technologies for the Digital Justice System of Tomorrow

Would you like to use your technical expertise to develop software solutions that are used every day by courts, public prosecutors’ offices, and government authorities? At Westernacher Solutions, you will work on highly secure applications for electronic legal communication and the digital transformation of public administration. You will take ownership of challenging software projects and actively shape modern solutions with a meaningful societal impact.

What You Can Expect...

• Develop modern software solutions and web applications for the digitalization of justice and public administration
• Support the entire software lifecycle—from conception and development to testing, deployment, and operations
• Contribute your expertise to architectural decisions, code reviews, and technical quality standards
• Continuously improve existing applications and identify opportunities for optimization
• Work closely with Product Owners, business stakeholders, and domain experts to translate functional requirements into technical solutions
• Support the adoption of modern technologies and best practices within development projects

What You Bring...

• At least five years of professional experience as a Java Software Developer or in a comparable role
• Successfully completed degree in Computer Science, Business Informatics, or a comparable qualification
• Strong expertise in Java-based backend technologies such as Spring, Hibernate, Oracle, and REST
• Good knowledge of modern web technologies, single-page applications, and web services
• Proven experience in the design, development, and maintenance of complex software solutions
• Experience with cloud platforms such as AWS, Azure, Google Cloud, or Oracle Cloud
• Experience with container technologies such as Docker and Kubernetes
• Knowledge of IT security topics, including certificates, encryption, PKI, and electronic signatures
• Experience in the public sector is considered an advantage
• Structured and quality-oriented approach to work combined with strong analytical thinking skills
• Good German and English language skills, both written and spoken
