Job Description

This position can be based in Germany.

Objective for the company:

Develop the presence and recognition of Sobi as a credible partner within the community through supporting the development of relationships with key stakeholders, as well as the successful development and delivery of agreed pre and post license marketing projects.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Development and execution of a country brand plan, including any required local strategy or tactical variations and budget (in alignment with the global brand plan)
  • Internal contact for Sobi HQ or global marketing team to align our local interests/needs with global activities.
  • Responsible for the strategical product management and the internal alignment with all other functions
  • Take over all communication responsibility for the product in charge
  • Analyze the success of current strategy and validate adaptations throughout the year
  • Support training of all internal and external staff
  • Drive branded (and non-branded) tactics that are in line with core product messaging and highest standards of compliance, e.g., branded commercial material, internet & social media
  • Develop strategic communications and/or training materials for internal and external customers on current projects and tactics and working with medical colleagues ensure the highest level of medical-scientific credibility in all Sobi external communications.
  • Work closely with local medical and patient access colleagues in Sobi, collaborate to define and deliver the overall marketing strategy, ensuring local customer needs and market requirements are included in the development of Sobi global strategy.
  • Responsible to execute defined key projects in line with local strategy to further strengthen Sobi’s position in the German market
  • Creation of monthly sales Comments, checking and monitoring the sales trend and costs budget; ensuring both forecast accuracy and keeping spendings

Qualifications

 

  • Education: Completed degree in Business Administration, Natural Sciences, or a comparable qualification.
  • Pharmaceutical Expertise: Several years of solid experience in marketing prescription (Rx) products within the pharmaceutical industry.
  • Sales Background: Proven, several years of experience in pharmaceutical field sales; you understand what matters on the front line.
  • Therapeutic Area Knowledge: Experience in metabolic diseases, diabetes, cardiology, and lipid metabolism is an advantage.
  • Technology & Data Focus: Strong affinity for data and hands-on experience using AI tools to optimize marketing processes and generate customer insights.
  • Mindset: Strong performance and results orientation combined with an innovative and strategic way of thinking.
  • Communication: Fluent German and English, both written and spoken, with the ability to communicate confidently with internal and external stakeholders.
