About the Role
We're looking for an organised and motivated Administration Officer to join our Rail & Wharf Services team in Kewdale.
This is an excellent opportunity for someone looking to build a long-term career in transport, logistics or administration. Whether you're starting your career or already have administration experience, you'll be supported to develop your skills while working in a fast-paced operational environment.
You'll play an important role supporting the day-to-day administration of our Intermodal & Specialised business, working closely with operations, customers and internal stakeholders to keep our business running efficiently.

Full-time permanent
Monday to Friday
8:00am β 4:00pm
What You'll Be Doing
Prepare invoices for the Warehousing team
Complete daily audits and reports, resolving or escalating issues where required
Support daily manifesting activities
Maintain terminal fuel tags and update records
Assist with weekly fuel pricing and transit time reporting
Calculate weekly subcontractor fuel surcharges (FSC)
Review subcontractor payments and identify discrepancies
Reconcile rail subcontractor invoices
Work with internal teams and customers to resolve account queries
Support Account Managers by clearing connotes on hold
Create ad hoc consignment notes
Scan and maintain Proof of Delivery (POD) documentation
Rate local consignment notes
Analyse daily labour hours and fleet hire costs
Assist with reviewing local delivery allowances
Provide administration support across Accounts Payable, Payroll, Manifesting and Customer Service when required
Ensure compliance with company policies, procedures and safety requirements
Complete other administration duties as required
What You'll Bring
Previous administration or customer service experience is desirable, but not essential
A genuine interest in building a career within transport, logistics or administration
Excellent communication and customer service skills
Strong organisational skills and attention to detail
Ability to prioritise tasks and meet deadlines
Good computer skills, including Microsoft Office (particularly Excel)
Confidence working both independently and as part of a team
Professional telephone manner
Ability to thrive in a busy and fast-paced environment
