Job Title: Creative Director

Location: Vietnam (Preferred), Indonesia, or Malaysia

Employment Type: Full-time

Salary: USD 1,000 USD 2,000 per month (Open to negotiation)

Hiring Timeline: ASAP

About the Opportunity

Our client is seeking a hands-on and strategic Creative Director. This is the senior-most creative position in the company, responsible for defining and executing the entire visual identity and user experience of the brand. The ideal candidate will be responsible for aligning the creative direction with both marketing goals and the technical constraints of the Unity Engine, ensuring all ideas are feasible, performance-optimized for mobile, and delivered on time.

Key Responsibilities

1. Creative & Brand Strategy

  • Define and own the end-to-end creative direction for the "Soundbeats" brand.
  • Develop and present 3 to 6-month creative plans, including trend analysis and strategic priorities.
  • Oversee the creation of all branding elements, including typography, logos, color palettes, and overall brand identity.
  • Ensure a consistent and high-quality visual identity across all media (in-game, marketing, social media).

2. Game Application Design (UI/UX & Art)

  • Plan, define, and direct the complete in-game UI design and UX, including all layouts, color schemes, animations, transitions, and loader screens.
  • Direct the visual style for all in-game assets, including 3D characters, weapons, props, and fonts, ensuring they match the brand's identity.
  • Define the look and style of all environments, including lighting, mood, and atmosphere.
  • Be hands-on with UI and gameplay design as needed, ensuring all assets align with the creative vision while respecting mobile performance limits within the Unity Engine.

3. Marketing & Video Creative

  • Oversee the production of all marketing assets, including video ads, trailers, promotional clips, and storyboards.
  • Develop the strategy for and ensure high-quality, high-converting store listing assets (screenshots, app icons, feature graphics).
  • Make the key strategic decision on whether to synchronize the visual style of the video ads and the mobile game, or to keep them distinct for marketing purposes.

4. Leadership & Operations

  • Create and deliver all design assets for developer implementation, ensuring proper documentation and versioning for a smooth handoff.
  • Maintain strong cross-department collaboration, ensuring creative ideas are aligned with both the game development (technical feasibility) and marketing (growth) departments.
  • Lead the planning, strategy, and execution of all key creative decisions, ensuring outputs are delivered on time to meet weekly deadlines.

Required Qualifications

  • A minimum of 5+ years of professional experience in a creative role (e.g., Art, Design).
  • At least 1+ year of experience in a Director-level, Lead, or senior creative management role.
  • A strong portfolio is mandatory, showcasing a wide range of work including UI/UX design, 3D or VFX, and marketing creative (especially video ads).
  • Hands-on experience with the Unity Engine and a deep understanding of mobile performance constraints and the technical art pipeline.
  • Proven experience in designing and shipping a mobile game or a similar complex application.
  • Expertise in UI/UX design principles and modern design tools.
  • Ability to create and present long-term (3-6 month) creative strategies.
