Job Summary:
The Senior Operations Analyst works as a member of the Operations team in Wroclaw within Epiq's Legal Solutions department in Europe. The Senior Operations Analyst role is to provide technical support for the full lifecycle of the electronic discovery reference model (EDRM) including ingestion of data, quality control, document production and document review projects. The position will require attention to detail, multi-tasking, analytical skills, pro-active attitude, as well as someone who works well in a team. The candidate must be able to work under the pressure of strict deadlines on multiple projects in a fast-paced environment and held extensive eDiscovery industry knowledge proven by at least two years of experience.
Shifts: Morning 9-17, Afternoon 17- 1, Night 1-9
The main shift for this role is 10am - 6pm CET.
Essential Job Responsibilities:
- Oversee daily tasks and workflows performed by their department as directed by management
- Associate can pick up and resolve most standard tasks independently, without assistance, in more than one eDiscovery tool.
- Load, Process and Search client data in many different file formats.
- Proficient in conducting relevant searches of electronic data using proprietary tools.
- Work closely with team members to troubleshoot data issues (prior to escalation to operations senior management and/or IT/Development), research software and/or techniques to solve problems, and carry out complex data analysis tasks with minimal assistance
- Creates end user, workflow, technical documentation
- Complete extensive reviews of custom and complex tasks specifications and considerable direct interactions with project managers is required
- Act as a role model and provide guidance and training on the more complex and custom tasks
- Provide guidance to other Analysts on multitasking and set the example in quantity of work performed
- Ensure daily services requests are assigned to team members and executed accurately in accordance with client deadlines
- Ensure all QC procedures and protocols are followed
- Communicate and collaborate with other company departments.
- Assists with designing and generating reports from various database platforms for senior management
- Generating written status reports to clients, managers, and project managers
- Trouble-shoot and resolve department issues and Client Services prior to escalation to managers
- Provides peer QC checks for other employee’s tasks
- Working closely with internal departments on streamlining processes and development of proprietary tools
- Demonstrates an interest in further development of skills, highlights personal training needs and proactively pushes for skills matrix progression
- Participates in additional initiatives such as testing and product/workflow development.
- Proactively supports Supervisor/Manager in minor activities and internal projects.
Requirements for the role include:
- Intermediate knowledge of several ESI data hosting/processing platforms is a must
- Candidate should be flexible in working hours and days and can work earlier and later than their scheduled shift to meet often last minute and tightly compressed client deadlines when required
- Must possess a strong understanding of electronic discovery tools and become an SME in at least one process within department.
- Possess and employ effective verbal and written communicate skills and work positively and effectively with other company departments
Qualifications:
- At least two years’ experience in the litigation support industry is required
- Solid understanding of all MS Office applications, basic UNIX, Windows, hardware, networking, and delimited files is required.
- Experienced with database applications.
- Knowledge of litigation support software is desirable
- Able to perform custom tasks in more than one eDiscovery applications/software, Familiar with electronic discovery and data recovery processes.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills are essential for this role.
- Demonstrated ability to work in a team environment, follow detailed instructions and meet established deadlines.
- A self-starter with ability to visualize data and software behaviour and coordinate the two.
- Fluency in English (verbal and written) is required
- Bachelor’s degree or final year student, preferably in computer/technical or legal field or equivalent combination of education and/or experience required.

The Compensation range for this role is 7,500zl up to 8,500zl per month or up to 102,000zl annually and may be eligible for an annual discretionary bonus. This will be based on your background and skills alignment with the role.
