We are currently looking for a Remote Civil Engineer who thrives in a collaborative, remote-first team and is driven to design infrastructure and systems that are both efficient and resilient.

Your Role

As a Remote Civil Engineer with us, you'll play a key role in designing, analyzing, and improving physical systems across multiple industries. You'll work with simulation experts, modeling engineers, and clients to bring projects from concept to reality.

Your responsibilities will include:

- Designing civil and structural systems aligned with performance, safety, and compliance standards

- Performing engineering calculations, simulations, and analysis to validate system integrity

- Collaborating with interdisciplinary teams on fluid modeling, load studies, and prototype testing

- Reviewing and producing technical documentation, construction drawings, and specifications

- Supporting CFD and physical modeling teams with infrastructure and layout design

- Using engineering software (AutoCAD, Civil 3D, Revit, etc.) to deliver high-quality plans

- Evaluating field data and simulation results to guide design improvements

- Participating in virtual project meetings, design reviews, and remote brainstorming sessions

- Staying up to date with new tools, codes, and best practices in civil systems engineering

Who We are Looking For

You're a detail-driven engineer who thrives on solving real-world problems with practical solutions. You love systems that make sense and work every time.

Qualifications:

- Bachelors or Masters in Civil Engineering or a related field

- 3+ years of experience in civil design, structural analysis, or infrastructure planning

- Proficiency in tools like AutoCAD, Civil 3D, Revit, or similar

- Understanding of structural analysis, site layout, grading, and drainage systems

- Remote work experience or strong communication skills for async environments

- Ability to convey complex technical info to team members, clients, and partners

- Knowledge of codes and standards (ASCE, ACI, ASTM, etc.)

Bonus Skills:

- Experience with CFD-based design environments

- Familiarity with geotechnical or hydrology modeling

- Previous experience with experimental hardware or physical models
