Job description

OUTSIDE IR35

We are recruiting for a BI Developer for an initial 6 month Contract with a Public Sector client. You will be supporting new and existing developments, against the clients corporate functions with two distinct area, consisting of On-premise BI development and Azure BI development.

Responsibilities:

  • Gather and understand requirements against a range of complex line of business systems and data warehouses
  • Script SQL against Oracle and SQL Server databases
  • Support a small but increasing number of existing Power BI reports
  • Work on projects where Power BI is identified as a workstream
  • Build and deploy Dataflows iteratively
  • Build and deploy Power BI reports iteratively

Experience Required:

  • Experience of developing clear requirements, based on customer expectations
  • Strong knowledge of T-SQL and PL/SQL
  • A proven track record of developing Paginated reports
  • A proven track record of developing Power BI reports
  • Experience of Azure Data offerings (SQL Database/Managed Instance, Data Factory, Synapse, Dataflows, etc)
