This role gathers and communicates actionable field insights, supports scientific engagement activities, research and educational initiatives, and partners cross-functionally while maintaining Medical Affairs independence.

Key Responsibilities

Scientific Exchange and KOL Engagement

· Serve as the field-based scientific expert for the oncology portfolio and support execution of Medical Affairs strategy and territory medical plans.

· Develop and execute a territory engagement plan identifying and prioritizing oncology and adjacent oncology KOLs, investigators, academic centers, community oncology practices, and other appropriate external stakeholders within the assigned geography.

· Conduct balanced, non-promotional, scientifically accurate medical-to-medical exchange regarding disease state, treatment landscape, clinical evidence, product information, treatment guidelines, and unmet medical needs.

· Respond to unsolicited medical/scientific inquiries in accordance with Cosette Medical Affairs policy and coordinate follow-up with Medical Information or other internal partners as appropriate.

Insights, Research, and Education

· Capture, document, and communicate actionable field-based scientific insights related to treatment patterns, evidence gaps, competitive landscape, emerging oncology trends, and stakeholder needs.

· Support research initiatives, including investigator-initiated trial facilitation, Cosette-sponsored study site identification and support, and investigator or advisory interactions in coordination with Clinical Development and Medical Affairs.

· Support medical congress coverage, advisory boards, scientific communications, medical education initiatives, speaker training, and scientific content review as appropriate.

Internal Partnership and Compliance

· Partner cross-functionally with Medical Affairs, Medical Information, Clinical Development, Market Access, Commercial, Regulatory, Legal, and Compliance while maintaining the non-promotional role of Medical Affairs.

· Maintain deep, current expertise in assigned disease areas, Cosette products, market places, clinical trial data, treatment guidelines, and the regulatory/compliance framework governing field medical activities.

· Maintain timely and complete documentation of stakeholder engagements, insights, follow-up activities, training, expenses, and other required records.

· Operate in full compliance with Cosette policies, the PhRMA Code, OIG guidance, FDA regulations, and applicable federal and state laws, including adverse event and product complaint reporting requirements.

Qualifications

· Terminal scientific or clinical degree required (PharmD, PhD, MD, or DO).

Required Experience

· Minimum of 2 years of oncology MSL or comparable field medical experience required.

· Experience engaging oncology KOLs, academic centers, community oncology practices, clinical investigators, or multidisciplinary cancer care teams within the assigned geography.

· Strong understanding of oncology disease states, treatment landscape, clinical trial design, evidence interpretation, treatment guidelines, and compliant scientific communication.

· Demonstrated ability to engage external experts and communicate complex scientific information clearly, accurately, credibly, and compliantly.

Preferred Experience

· Experience supporting product launch or relaunch readiness, congress activities, advisory boards, scientific communications, investigator-initiated research, evidence-generation discussions, or medical insight generation.

· Familiarity with oncology channels such as insurance requirements, specialty pharmacy, integrated delivery networks, and/or regional oncology networks.

Required Capabilities

· Strong scientific and clinical acumen with the ability to interpret and communicate complex clinical data and therapeutic concepts to expert audiences.

· Excellent presentation, scientific communication, relationship-building, and virtual/in-person engagement skills.

· Self-motivated, organized, accountable, and able to manage a broad field territory with sound scientific judgment and uncompromising integrity.

Travel Requirements

· Field-based, home-office role supporting the assigned North/Northeast oncology territory; candidate must reside within the assigned geography, preferably near a major airport to support regional travel across the Northeast, Mid-Atlantic, and select adjacent northern markets.
