  • Lead tender, pricing and contract strategies, ensuring competitive, compliant and value-driven commercial solutions.
  • Build and maintain strong relationships with NHS procurement teams, ICSs, framework managers and key decision-makers.
  • Act as a trusted commercial advisor, supporting value-based partnerships and influencing commercial outcomes.
  • Drive contract performance, commercial excellence and continuous process improvement across the business.
  • Collaborate with Sales, Marketing, Finance and Commercial Operations to deliver strategic objectives and maximise market share.
  • Provide leadership, coaching and guidance on commercial negotiations, stakeholder management and tender strategy.
  • Represent Abbott Medical as a senior commercial leader, building long-term partnerships and strengthening market position.

  • Ability to translate data into actionable insight and drive decision-making.
  • Demonstrated ability to build consultative, collaborative relationships with managers, co-workers and customer stakeholders at all levels.
  • Commercial acumen including pricing, contracting, and value-based selling
  • Proven ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously
  • Excellent analysis and decision making skills
  • Experience of UK commercial and contract law to assess and challenge constantly changing market place.
  • Demonstrate the authority, confidence and intelligence required to deal directly with each customer group on general matters relating to Tenders & Quotes.
  • Excellent general computer skills, especially Microsoft Excel and Microsoft Word
