Objective

Support our client in producing authoritative, technically accurate thought leadership that reinforces their position as a trusted global accounting and advisory firm. This writer will collaborate closely with partners and subject matter experts (SMEs) to create insightful, practical, and engaging content for business leaders, executives, investors, and financial decision-makers.

Profile Overview

We are seeking an experienced B2B writer with a strong background creating content focused on accounting, tax, finance, or business advisory services. The ideal candidate combines excellent research and interviewing skills with the ability to translate complex financial concepts into clear, engaging thought leadership.

Writers with demonstrated experience producing high-quality accounting and finance content, and the ability to collaborate with subject matter experts, are encouraged to apply.

Experience writing for CPA firms, accounting and advisory practices, financial institutions, investment firms, wealth management firms, or other professional services organizations is highly preferred.

Engagement

  • Commitment: Approximately 20 hours per month
  • Initial Engagement: 3-month contract, but room to extend based on performance and business needs
  • Estimated Workload: Approximately 2–4 long-form thought leadership pieces per month, depending on complexity, plus occasional revisions and supporting content.

Responsibilities

  • Collaborate with partners and subject matter experts to develop thought leadership content.
  • Interview SMEs and conduct independent research to produce technically accurate, publication-ready content.
  • Write articles covering tax, accounting, business advisory, regulatory developments, and industry trends.
  • Create white papers, executive insights, tax updates, and educational content for business audiences.
  • Translate complex accounting and financial concepts into accessible, engaging content.
  • Capture the voice of senior professionals for ghostwritten articles and bylined content.
  • Produce content for websites, newsletters, media publications, LinkedIn, and other marketing channels.
  • Ensure content meets high standards for technical accuracy, professionalism, and editorial quality.

Required Qualifications

  • Demonstrated experience writing accounting, tax, finance, business advisory, or other highly technical B2B content.
  • Exceptional research, interviewing, and analytical writing skills.
  • Ability to simplify complex financial or regulatory topics for business audiences.
  • Experience producing thought leadership, long-form articles, white papers, or executive content.
  • Strong attention to detail and commitment to accuracy.
  • Ability to work independently while collaborating effectively with client stakeholders and SMEs.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Background in accounting, finance, economics, business, journalism, or a related field.
  • Professional credentials such as CPA, EA, ACA, ACCA, CTA, or similar.
  • Experience writing for accounting firms, advisory firms, financial institutions, or professional services organizations.
  • Ghostwriting experience for partners, executives, CPAs, attorneys, or other senior leaders.
  • Experience creating executive bylines and thought leadership programs.

Preferred Subject Matter Experience

Experience in one or more of the following areas is preferred:

  • Business Management and Family Office Services
  • International Tax and Cross-Border Advisory
  • Financial Services and Asset Management
  • Private Wealth and High-Net-Worth Tax Planning
  • Corporate Tax and Advisory Services
  • Accounting and Outsourced Finance Functions
