Duration: 6+ months

Role Descriptions : We are seeking an experienced SAP Group Reporting Consultant to join our Application Management Services (AMS) team for one of pharmaceutical client. In this role, you will be responsible for the ongoing support, maintenance, and continuous improvement of SAP Group Reporting solutions within our SAP S/4HANA environment. You will work closely with Finance, IT, and business stakeholders to ensure the stability, performance, and evolution of the Group Reporting platform.

Key Responsibilities
· Provide day-to-day AMS support for SAP Group Reporting, including incident management, problem resolution, and change requests in line with SLA commitments.
· Configure and maintain SAP Group Reporting objects including consolidation units, versions, hierarchies, elimination rules, and currency translation methods.
· Support month-end and year-end financial close activities, ensuring accurate and timely consolidation of financial data.
· Collaborate with Finance teams to understand business requirements and translate them into system solutions.
· Manage and resolve tickets via ITSM tools (e.g., ServiceNow), ensuring root cause analysis and preventive action for recurring issues.
· Support integration between SAP Group Reporting and SAP S/4HANA Universal Journal, as well as other feeder systems.
· Participate in upgrades, patches, and enhancements to the SAP Group Reporting landscape.
· Conduct unit testing, regression testing, and support user acceptance testing (UAT) for system changes.
· Maintain up-to-date functional and technical documentation (configuration guides, test scripts, SOPs).
· Support intercompany reconciliation, eliminations, and reporting processes.
· Work with SAP Analysis Objects for reporting and data visualization where applicable.
· Mentor junior team members and contribute to knowledge sharing within the AMS team.
· Stay current with SAP product roadmaps and emerging Group Reporting capabilities.

Required Qualifications
· Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, Information Systems, or a related field.
· 5+ years of hands-on experience with SAP Group Reporting and SAP Analysis Objects (AO) (formerly SAP BCS or SEM-BCS) in an S/4HANA environment.
· Strong understanding of financial consolidation concepts: intercompany eliminations, currency translation (LC/GC/TC), minority interest, and financial close processes.
· Proficiency in SAP FI/CO modules (General Ledger, Accounts Payable, Accounts Receivable, Fixed Assets).
· Experience with ITSM/ticketing systems such as ServiceNow for AMS operations.
· Solid knowledge of IFRS and/or US GAAP accounting standards.
· Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills with the ability to troubleshoot complex system issues.
· Strong communication and stakeholder management skills.

Preferred Qualifications
· Experience with SAP Analysis for Office (AFO) and financial reporting dashboards.
· Knowledge of SAP Solution Manager or SAP Cloud ALM.
· Familiarity with IFRS 18 reporting standards.
· SAP certification in SAP S/4HANA Finance or Group Reporting.
· Experience working in a global, multi-entity consolidation environment.
· Prior experience in the pharmaceutical or life sciences industry.
