Overview:

Position: Sr. Corporate Project Manager  

 

Compensation: $110 - $120K/yr DOE

 

Location: Remote (If living within 31 miles of Santa Ana, CA or Austin, TX will need to be able to work 4 days on-site)

 

Schedule: 8:00am-5:00pm

 

Position Summary:

Seeking a highly skilled, driven, detailed, motivated and well-spoken Project Manager to work alongside business stakeholders within our Project Management division. This is an excellent opportunity for a current Project Manager that wishes to collaborate with brilliant individuals working to achieve and develop new goals and ultimately reach new levels of success.

This individual will need to be very detail oriented, have multiple project management methods and methodologies such as Waterfall, Agile, XP, Six Sigma, etc., be able to manage multiple projects and ideas at any given time, help take on the responsibility of helping various teams plan and execute projects to achieve business goals, create project plans, track team's progress against that plan, communicate with stakeholders, and remove any barriers that might prevent a team for being successful all while maintaining a collaborative, upbeat and can do attitude. As leaders, it is imperative that they promote a culture of teamwork, collaboration, and success.

Responsibilities:

Essential Duties and Responsibilities include the following in addition to routine daily duties. Other duties may be assigned.

 

  • Managing the day-to-day operational aspects of Business, Operational and Technical projects.
  • Being responsible for all aspects of a project from the design stage through to completion and handover to the Executives and Stakeholders.
  • Writing up all project documentation.
  • Submitting progress reports to stakeholders and senior managers.
  • Setting the standards and methodology to be used in a project.
  • Creating a working environment that allows everyone to work to the best of their abilities.
  • Taking responsibility of projects through their entire lifecycle.
  • Properly scoping a project.
  • Managing project budgets.
  • Managing project resources.
  • Communicating with stakeholders to clarify the desired outcome of a project.
  • Ensuring that all relevant processes are followed on projects.
  • Administering the allocation of jobs and budgets on a project.
  • Managing project personnel within the scope of the role to achieve project objectives.
  • Manage cross functional teams.
  • Regularly review and analyses the project scope.
  • Managing Stakeholder expectations.
  • Identifying project risks.
  • Negotiating with suppliers and sub-contractors.
  • Driving cross-functional project teams.
  • Agreeing project objectives.
  • Taking into account Stakeholders interests.
  • Ensuring that the highest quality standards are met.
Qualifications:

  4. Ability to deal with ambiguous situations
  5. Must have demonstrated ability to collaborate and work well with others;
  6. Excellent verbal and written communication and listening skills;
  7. Has knowledge of commonly used terminology, concepts and practices and procedures within the mortgage industry;
  8. Knowledge and awareness of Project Management principles, documents and plans
  9. Good facilitation and analytical skills
  10. Ability to deliver results on time, on budget, and to the very highest standards
  11. Ability to quickly gain the technical, behavioral and contextual elements of a project
  12. Running large- and small-scale projects
  13. Project reporting
  14. Stakeholder management
  15. Good business writing and math skills

 

 

Desired Education/Experience:

  • Bachelor’s Degree, PMP and/or relevant Project Manager Certificate Desired; at least two years’ experience in this field of work is preferred.
  • Mortgage Experience preferred.
