Job description

We are searching for a collaborative and resourceful Program Manager to support existing programming and processes, plan and execute outreach initiatives, develop and deliver virtual educational content, as well as manage application and career-related resources. The right candidate for the role is passionate about ensuring that outreach processes, communications, and events are delivered with care and consistency to positively impact the lives of current college students and early to mid-career professionals.  

 

This role provides an exciting opportunity to participate in new initiatives and areas of growth for the organization. Reporting to the Director of Scholar Outreach, Career and Graduate Opportunities, and working closely with our partnerships, data, and communication teams, they will play a key role in the implementation of our career and graduate school opportunities.

 

Key Responsibilities

  • Support planning and execution of graduate school and career development programs, managing multi-channel outreach campaigns that expand audience reach, drive engagement, and elevate opportunity awareness across eligible QuestBridge Scholars and Alumni. 
  • Provide support to QuestBridge Scholars and Alumni throughout application processes while managing vendor relationships and bolstering overall team operational efficiency.
  • Develop and deliver dynamic, high impact recruitment events and program resources to support applicants through various opportunities.
  • Become an expert in the team’s project management tools, and adept at creating efficient, streamlined systems to optimize workflows.
  • Use tracking, surveys, and analytics to measure the impact of our outreach efforts.
  • Work with the team to gain a deep understanding of the population we serve and the opportunities we offer.
  • Research and stay informed in hiring practices, employment trends and other labor related issues, and news and trends in the graduate school admissions and financial aid space.
  • Support other organizational projects, tasks, and goals as needed and as assigned.
  • With other QuestBridge Staff, annually read and evaluate student applications for major programs and other opportunities.

 

Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree with minimum of 5 years of full-time work experience in education, nonprofits, or marketing/recruitment.
  • Familiarity and passion for selective graduate school admissions, career services, life design, or campus recruitment.
  • Ability to manage multiple programs while maintaining a high level of organization and professionalism.
  • Track record of setting priorities, establishing operational processes, and executing on plans with measurable outcomes.
  • Excellent written and oral communication skills, including public speaking experience.
  • Able to comfortably adapt in a dynamic, remote working environment with changing requirements and priorities.
  • Heightened sensitivity to students from diverse backgrounds.
  • Ability to maintain confidentiality and exercise good judgement in difficult situations.
  • Experience with the following platforms: Canva, PeopleGrove, Slate, and Wrike. (preferred)

Compensation and Benefits

We offer competitive compensation commensurate with experience and skills for the position. The range for the position is $62,400 - $78,000.

Hours and Location
This is a full-time, remote position and can be based anywhere in the United States.
