Our Underwriters provide complete solutions for Canadian small businesses. They work closely with a wide range of broker partners to get a holistic picture of each risk and make underwriting decisions that make sense for all parties. They are passionate about maintaining strong relationships with our internal and external stakeholders and love utilizing their strong technical skills to ensure that risks are assessed properly.
While they are already experts in their own field, Northbridge is committed to their ongoing growth and development. Working in a collaborative team they provide coaching, mentoring and development for less experienced underwriters. In other words, they're awesome. We want your talent!
If you are great at:
Underwriting multi-line business across industry segments
Problem-solving and critical thinking
Building relationships with brokers
Creating success in a fast paced and dynamic environment
Helping others develop through coaching and mentorship
If you have:
2-5 years of multi-line Underwriting experience - property, casualty (automobile is an asset)
Completed, or pursuing your CIP, FCIP, or RPLU designation
Strong customer service background
Team-first mentality
Small Business experience is a plus

We’re committed to pay transparency and fairness. The base salary range for this role is $66,000 - $98,000, which reflects the expected base pay – not the total compensation package. The actual base salary may vary depending on your experience, skills, and alignment with the position. We’re also open to candidates at different levels, so if this range doesn’t quite match your expectations, don’t let that hold you back — we’d still love to hear from you.
