Through personalized counseling and dedicated care teams, we help older adults navigate life's challenges with more ease and peace of mind — delivering Medicare-covered therapy to seniors navigating grief, loss, isolation, and the transitions that come with aging, through a practice designed specifically around their needs and yours.
Only 4% of older adults with depression ever receive therapy. Not because they don't need it, but because the system wasn't built for them. We're changing that — and we're looking for clinicians who feel the same urgency we do.
Position Available
We offer part-time and full-time opportunities for licensed clinical psychologists (PhD / PsyD) on a flexible, fee-for-service basis. Start at 15 hours per week (1099) or 25 hours per week (W2) and build from there. Tailor your workload to fit your life.

Comprehensive benefits. Clinicians receive competitive per-session rates. 1099 clinicians receive this as full cash compensation. W2 clinicians working 25+ hours per week are eligible for health, dental, and vision insurance and a 401(k) with up to 3.5% employer matching.
Responsibilities
As a licensed clinical psychologist at Sailor Health, you will:
Deliver high-quality, evidence-based psychotherapy to older adults in a virtual setting
Design personalized treatment plans to meet the unique needs of each patient
Work independently while being part of a collaborative, supportive care team
Manage documentation efficiently using our streamlined EMR and AI documentation tools
Participate in regular (paid) case consultations & clinical leadership meetings

Qualifications
Doctoral degree in psychology (PhD or PsyD) from an APA-accredited program
Active, independent license to practice psychology in Rhode Island
Experience working with older adults or geriatric populations preferred
Comfortable with telehealth platforms and electronic health records
Medicare billing experience a plus — we handle it either way
