The Mission

We are seeking an exceptional UX/UI Designer to join our growing Cloud Native Applications team. The right candidate is a cross-functional, client-focused individual who can deliver well-designed, intuitive user experiences. You will be tasked with conducting discovery, gathering requirements, and designing best-in-class user interfaces. Key markers for success will be your ability to:

  • Gain deep understanding of user journeys
  • Deliver functional, well-constructed UI designs
  • Build engaging, robust experiences that surprise and delight users

 Your Assignment

  • Synthesize elements of graphic design, psychology, and software development to create user journeys that are engaging and intuitive
  • Create storyboards, wireframes, process flows, and interaction models resulting in low to high fidelity prototypes for client presentation
  • Develop user personas and user flows to meet client needs and align with overall vision
  • Set the foundation for development of well-designed and enjoyable user experiences
  • Partner with clients, product managers, and technical teams to perform discovery, gather requirements, and build UX/UI designs
  • Consistently pursue understanding of user needs and priorities, and the trade-offs required to deliver the optimal solution
  • Demonstrate both a client-first and a user-centric mindset to take client user journeys from vision to implementation
  • Prioritize multiple concurrent workstreams across client engagements
  • Thrive in a dynamic, high-growth, full-remote environment

 Your Qualifications

  • 3+ years working with UX/UI design
  • Expertise reviewing client Statement of Work documentation, defining design specifications, and creating client collateral
  • Expert-level written communication and story telling through visual communication
  • Expertise with UX/UI software including Figma, Penpot, Balsamiq, Canva, Lucidchart
  • Ability to design and help construct rapid prototypes for efficient feedback cycles
  • Expertise working in client-facing environments and professional services engagements
  • Excitement and natural curiosity for solving client challenges, creating solutions, and partnering with world-class technologists
  • Enthusiasm for working in a dynamic, cross-functional environment

 Preferred Qualifications

  • Experience as a member of an Agile project team
  • Familiarity with UX/UI technologies including HTML, CSS, React, Vue, Angular
  • Familiarity with technical concepts including GenAI, APIs, CI/CD, databases, repos 
  • Experience working with AWS services and tools
  • Experience delivering cloud-based products and solutions
