Summary: This position provides enterprise-level technical and architectural leadership across cloud platform architecture, infrastructure modernization, and the organization’s emerging AI platform and ecosystem. The role is responsible for guiding cloud transformation, infrastructure optimization, resiliency and disaster recovery design, and AI enablement. As a primary architecture partner for IT Services, Engineering, Information Management, Security, and business stakeholders, this position establishes standards, reference architectures, integration environments, governance guardrails, and reusable platform capabilities that support strategic business outcomes, operational stability, cost optimization, and responsible AI adoption.

Qualifications/Education/Certifications:
Bachelor’s degree plus a minimum of seven to ten years’ relevant work experience or equivalent combination of education and experience.
Experienced in leading and implementing the design and delivery of infrastructure solutions.
Experience in Healthcare and knowledge of Workers’ Compensation industry is a plus.
Experience designing or establishing enterprise AI platforms, AI infrastructure, agent-based architectures, model integration patterns, or AI-enabled application ecosystems is strongly preferred.
Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities:
EA or I&O background with hands-on experience in cloud (Public/Private/Hybrid), virtualization, infrastructure domains, and development
Demonstrated understanding of AI platform architecture, AI governance concepts, agent gateways or orchestration patterns, model deployment considerations, prompt and context management concepts, API management, event-driven integration, observability, and secure cloud-native design.
Ability to translate emerging AI capabilities into practical enterprise architecture guidance, reusable patterns, standards, decision frameworks, and adoption roadmaps that can be understood by both technical and business stakeholders.
Variable work hours, including evenings and weekends, may be required due to the nature of installed technologies and utilization requirements.
Proven experience working with project teams in an influential role to deliver enabling solutions based on business requirements, technology standards, service level agreements and approved funding.
Must have experience in identifying and implementing sound design patterns and capable of leading and facilitating design and modeling workshops with both business and technical team members.
Must be comfortable with change, close collaboration, and have conflict resolution skills.
Knowledge of or willingness to learn Agile / DevOps practices.
Preferred background with strong hands-on expertise working with Microsoft, IaaS, PaaS, Linux, Cisco, storage, security, middleware, database management systems, Java, and public and private cloud.
Preferred experience with cloud AI services, enterprise integration platforms, API gateways, service mesh concepts, infrastructure-as-code, DevSecOps practices, identity and access management, secrets management, data protection controls, and platform observability.

Pay is based on several factors including but not limited to education, work experience, certifications, geographical cost of labor, etc. In addition to base pay, Healthesystems offers a comprehensive benefits package including, health, dental, vision, disability and life insurance, wellness resources, recognition programs, 401k contribution, and PTO & Holiday pay (all subject to eligibility requirements).
