We are currently searching for a Software Asset Manager:

The Challenge (Responsibilities)

  • Maintain an accurate inventory of all software assets including licenses, versions, and installations.
  • Ensure compliance with software licensing agreements and manage renewals and publisher audits.
  • Assist in the procurement of software, liaising with the Finance team for invoicing, billing, and maintenance of agreements in designated repositories.
  • Monitor software usage to identify underutilized licenses and pinpoint opportunities for cost savings.
  • Develop, enforce, and identify violations of software asset management policies and procedures.
  • Generate regular reports on software usage, compliance, and cost savings, conducting pre-reviews of asset-related reports.
  • Maintain relationships with software vendors, manage contracts/agreements, and review service commitments/KPIs.
  • Provide training and support to staff on software asset management best practices.
  • Perform software asset audits when required and work with necessary teams to ensure publisher audit readiness.

Your Profile (Requirements)

  • Bachelor's degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, or a related field.
  • Minimum of 3 years of experience in software asset management or a related role.
  • Experience with cloud-based software and licensing models.
  • Expertise managing Tier 1 Publishers (Microsoft, Adobe, Oracle, SAP).
  • Expertise in License Cost Optimization, saving opportunities, and managing the Effective License Position (ELP) to ensure zero non-compliance and mitigate associated risks.
  • Strong understanding of software licensing, compliance, and vendor negotiation.
  • Proficiency in enterprise SAM tools (ServiceNow SAM Pro, Flexera).
  • Excellent organizational, analytical, communication, and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work independently and as part of a team.
  • High-Performance Mindset: Resilience, emotional intelligence, and a focus on agile delivery.
  • Technologist DNA: A deep understanding of the difference between "coding" and "engineering."

Desired

  • Certification in Software Asset Management (e.g., CSAM).
  • ITIL4 Foundation certification.
  • Familiarity with cloud-native foundations or AI coding assistants.

Languages

  • Advanced Oral English: For seamless collaboration with global teams.
  • Advanced Spanish.
