The role  

Valtech is a global business transformation agency delivering innovation with a purpose. Our client base includes global brands like L’Oréal, MAC Cosmetics, easyJet, Audi, Wavin and Danone.  

We are seeking a highly motivated Marketing Event Specialist to jour our European Marketing Team and who is passionate about experience innovation and eager to push the boundaries of what’s possible. You bring 3 to 5 years of experience, a growth mindset and a drive to make a lasting impact. You will be responsible for planning and executing events across the region. Reporting to the European Head of Marketing Operations and in close collaboration with our team, you’ll have lots of opportunities to learn and try new things in events marketing.   

You will thrive in this role if you are:

  • Experienced in Agile methodologies and consulting (a plus) 

Key responsibilities

  • Planning and executing various events across Europe, such as roundtables, webinars, industry events and partner events. 
  • Developing event plans, budgets, and timelines – aligned with the European marketing plan and organizational goals. 
  • Working with core teams of stakeholders, both from marketing and other Valtech teams (e.g. subject matter experts and the sales organisation). 
  • Defining event KPIs with marketing leads and key functions of the team. 
  • Collaborating with the global content team on event concept, themes, and design, all whilst maintaining branding consistency. 
  • Vendor management  
  • Event production and logistics 
  • On-site event management including setup, venue, and guest management. 
  • Hosting post-event evaluation to gather feedback, identify areas for improvement and prepare event report. 

 

Other responsibilities

 

 

 

  • Support on publication of organic social media posts.  
  • Support on database cleaning.   
  • Work alongside your team of marketing specialists who run events, webinars, emails, and content marketing, all in a supportive, learning environment. 

 

Must have qualifications

To be considered for this role, you must meet the following essential qualifications: 

  • Excellent planning, organisational, and stakeholder management skills. 
  • Excellent communication and problem-solving abilities. 
  • Curious about AI tools and eager to use them to improve efficiency and output quality. 
  • A data-driven mindset with the ability to set KPIs and translate performance data into actionable recommendations. 
  • Experience with a CMP (Content Management Platform); familiarity with Salesforce or PowerBI is a plus. 
  • Fluent in English. 
  • Note that travel might be required for this role.
