We are actively seeking a Data Loss Prevention (DLP) Analyst to join our dynamic team. This position reports directly to the GVP of Cyber Operations and Governance and offers flexibility to work remotely from a home office located within São Paulo.


Position Summary


The Data Loss Prevention (DLP) Analyst is responsible for protecting Rimini Street's sensitive information through data classification and handling, DLP policy development, and enforcement of data protection controls. This role implements and manages DLP technologies that prevent sensitive data from leaving the Rimini Street environment, while educating users and reducing the risk of data loss.


Essential Duties & Responsibilities

  • Classify and label sensitive data using approved information protection standards.
  • Develop and maintain DLP policies, rules, and controls.
  • Configure controls to block unauthorized sharing of sensitive data via email, cloud services, web uploads, removable media, and collaboration platforms.
  • Create user notifications and policy tips that inform employees when a DLP policy violation occurs
  • Monitor and investigate DLP alerts, incidents, and policy violations.
  • Support the development of data protection, classification, and handling policies.
  • Provide user education and awareness on secure data handling practices.

Required Qualifications

  • 5+ years of experience in Information Security, Data Protection, DLP, or Security Operations.
  • Experience with enterprise DLP platforms and data classification technologies.
  • Understanding of data privacy, information governance, and regulatory requirements.
  • Strong analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills.
