Job Description

Technical Skills

• 10+ years of hands-on professional backend software development experience
• Strong experience designing and maintaining real-time distributed systems with low-latency request/response handling
• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or related field
• Strong programming skills in Java are required; however, we are open to considering your C/C++, Scala, Ruby, Rust, or Go experience if you are interested in transitioning to Java
• Experience maintaining and refactoring legacy Python codebases
• Familiarity with CI/CD pipelines and automated testing frameworks
• Experience designing and integrating RESTful APIs
• Hands-on experience with AWS, Docker, Kubernetes, and SQL databases

Soft Skills

• Ability to navigate and manage system complexity
• Strong sense of ownership and accountability
• Commitment to continuous learning and pushing the boundaries of your technical expertise
• Outstanding problem-solving and analytical capabilities
• Collaborative team player with mentoring experience

Nice to Have

• Experience with Spring Framework and microservices architecture
• Background with data analytics and processing tools such as Apache Spark, Hive, Databricks, or similar platforms

Qualifications

• Familiarity with CI/CD pipelines and testing frameworks

• Experience with API integration 

• Experience with AWS, Docker, Kubernetes, SQL

• Comfortable dealing with system complexity

• Great sense of ownership

• You enjoy pushing the limits of your knowledge and experience every day 

• Outstanding problem-solving and analytical skills 

• Enjoys working as part of a team and as a mentor
