Job Summary


The Digital Marketing Manager owns AccuSourceHR's digital demand generation engine — paid media, SEO/AEO/GEO, and website - while directing an outside marketing vendor's execution of that work. This position also builds AccuSourceHR's customer marketing program from the ground up, including customer segmentation, lifecycle workflows, customer feedback and reference programs, and cross-sell campaigns into our existing customer base. 


Key Responsibilities

  • Digital Marketing Strategy & Vendor Direction: Set strategy and approve execution for our marketing vendor's paid media, SEO, AEO, and GEO programs.
  • Paid Media Budget Ownership: Own accountability for a growing digital ad budget (Google, LinkedIn) and report on performance against pipeline and revenue goals.
  • Website Ownership: Manage the company website, built in HubSpot, as a lead-generation asset, including ongoing vendor coordination.
  • Marketing Automation & Reporting: Administer HubSpot marketing automation, lead nurture workflows, and funnel/attribution reporting.
  • Product Launch Support: Support digital go-to-market activities for phased product launches.
  • Customer Marketing Program Development: Build foundational customer marketing infrastructure, including customer segmentation and lifecycle email workflows in the CRM. 
  • Cross-Sell Campaign Piloting: Design and launch initial cross-sell and upsell campaigns into the existing customer base.
  • Account Management Collaboration: Refine and strengthen our established lead handoff process with the Account Management team for customer marketing leads.
  • HubSpot & CRM Ownership: Serve as the team's HubSpot manager - our workflows, customer email, and marketing dashboards all run through it - while maintaining working familiarity with Salesforce and outbound tools like Clay to support alignment across sales and marketing systems. 
  • Special Project Support: Provide support for special projects as needed.
  • Other duties as assigned.
Requirements

 

Education/Experience

  • Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Business, or a related field, or equivalent experience
  • Minimum 3–6 years’ experience in digital marketing, demand generation, or growth marketing
  • Experience managing outside agencies or vendors
  • Background screening or HR tech/compliance tech industry experience strongly preferred

Qualifications/Skills


The requirements listed below are representative of the knowledge, skills and/or abilities for this position.

  • Experience with HubSpot (marketing automation, email, website, dashboards) — this is the team's core marketing system.
  • Working knowledge of paid search and paid social platforms (e.g., Google Ads, LinkedIn Campaign Manager) — enough to direct and evaluate our vendor's strategy and spend
  • Ability to read and interpret Google Analytics/GA4 and funnel/attribution reports, and translate them into action
  • Experience with A/B testing and conversion rate optimization, whether hands-on (landing pages, page copy) or through directing an agency's testing program
  • Experience building segmented, lifecycle email campaigns
  • Working knowledge of SEO fundamentals (keyword research, SERP tracking) to intelligently direct our SEO/AEO/GEO vendor
  • Familiarity with Salesforce and Clay a plus
  • Excellent communication and vendor management skills
  • Ability to operate independently and think critically.
  • Detail-oriented with a focus on delivering high-quality work
  • Comfortable defining process, not just following one
  • Flexibility and adaptability in a fast-paced environment

Compensation & Benefits

  • Base salary: $62,000–$75,000, depending on experience

Physical Requirements

  • Must have a dedicated and ergonomic workspace at home conducive to focused work.
  • Access to a stable and reliable high-speed internet connection.
  • Adequate lighting and minimal background noise to support professional video calls and meetings.
  • Ability to lift and carry up to 5 pounds occasionally, for tasks such as setting up a workstation or equipment.
  • The ability to work comfortably and effectively in a home environment that meets ergonomic standards, including proper seating and desk setup.
