YOU WILL BE: 

As the Director of Retail Learning and Selling Enablement, you will lead the strategy, design, and execution of retail learning, selling, and service programs that shape how we engage clients across Saks Fifth Avenue and Neiman Marcus stores. You will oversee the development of a unified selling and service model that elevates the client experience and builds associate and leader capability at every level. This includes leading the teams responsible for onboarding, service and selling programs, and leadership enablement across both banners. Partnering closely with retail and corporate leaders, you will ensure learning experiences align with brand identity, business priorities, and performance goals while fostering a culture of continuous growth and service excellence. Through your strategic vision, creativity, and deep understanding of the luxury retail landscape, you will build an integrated portfolio of programs that inspire our people, strengthen our client relationships, and drive meaningful business impact across Exemplar Luxury Group.

YOU WILL DO:

  • Lead the enterprise strategy for retail learning, selling, and service enablement across Saks Fifth Avenue and Neiman Marcus stores, ensuring alignment with brand identity, client experience standards, and business goals

  • Lead a team of learning and enablement professionals, providing strategic guidance, coaching, and professional development to ensure quality, consistency, and excellence in program design and facilitation

  • Design and oversee the execution of a consistent selling and service model that strengthens associate capability, elevates the client experience, and drives performance outcomes

  • Facilitate high-impact service programs that inspire retail teams, model excellence in delivery, and drive measurable shifts in behavior and performance

  • Direct the development, delivery, and continuous improvement of retail onboarding programs for associates and leaders, ensuring every new hire experience builds engagement, confidence, and readiness for success

  • Partner with senior retail leaders, field operations, and corporate stakeholders to assess skill needs, identify performance gaps, and design learning solutions that deliver measurable results

  •  Lead store-specific cohorts of leadership development programs, tailoring facilitation and content to meet the unique needs of retail leaders while maintaining alignment with enterprise frameworks

  • Collaborate with enterprise learning and coaching partners to align retail learning pathways with enterprise-wide leadership and development frameworks

  • Manage external vendors, budgets, and learning resources to ensure efficient delivery and return on investment

  • Serve as a visible ambassador of learning and service excellence, modeling Exemplar Luxury Group’s values and fostering a culture of growth, inclusion, and exceptional client care

YOU WILL BRING:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Organizational Development, Education, or a related field

  • 8+ years of experience in retail learning, talent development, or selling and service enablement within a luxury or high-performance retail environment

  • 8+ years of progressive people leadership experience with a proven ability to lead, coach, and develop high-performing teams

  • Demonstrated success designing and leading large-scale retail learning and enablement programs that strengthen selling capability and elevate the client experience

  • Expertise in developing and facilitating leadership, selling, and service programs with a strong commitment to excellence in delivery and learner engagement

  • Deep understanding of retail operations, client experience strategy, and how to align learning programs to drive business performance

  • Proven ability to partner with senior retail and corporate leaders to assess needs, influence direction, and align learning initiatives to strategic priorities

  • Experience managing external vendors, budgets, and resources to ensure efficiency, scalability, and impact

  • Exceptional facilitation, communication, and storytelling skills with the ability to connect, inspire, and engage diverse audiences across all organizational levels
