THE OPPORTUNITY

As a Mobile Claims Specialist, you will provide high quality early intervention and specialised service to workers and employers through personalised face-to-face assistance. This role will enable you to facilitate effective workplace based co-ordination of a timely and safe return to work that benefits an injured worker’s recovery and helps employers manage their worker’s compensation obligations. The Mobile Claims Specialist focuses on positively influencing a number of stakeholders.

• Create and drive RTW plans in conjunction with a variety of stakeholders to ensure RTW outcomes
• Collaborate with claims specialists, liability specialists & other technical and support experts to manage a portfolio of claims
• Conduct purposeful community-based visits inclusive of but not limited to worksites or medical clinics on initial triage of a claim and at significant milestones during the life of the claim
• Provide accurate and complete information that is consistent and easy to understand (including options about any claim, entitlements, obligations & responsibilities). This includes ensuring both parties have an understanding of diagnosis, prognosis, treatment and capacity.
