About CodeRoad

CodeRoad provides end-to-end software development services, helping businesses scale with ideal infrastructure solutions. From staff augmentation to dedicated IT teams and general software engineering, our nearshore technology services empower businesses to thrive in an ever-evolving digital landscape.

About the Role

As a Senior QA Engineer, you will serve as the technical backbone for validating mission-critical aviation workflows, agentic automation, and modern, cloud-native applications. You will anchor quality assurance across microservices, RESTful APIs, and distributed event-driven systems operating in AWS environments. Working with complex data-driven software, you will ensure the stability, reliability, and precision of next-generation aviation maintenance and supply chain platforms.

This role is critical to building candidate-centric, production-ready quality standards and robust automation frameworks that accelerate release cycles without compromising integrity. By bridging the gap between product managers, data analysts, and software engineers, you will directly impact the performance, scalability, and seamless delivery of intelligent software solutions to global enterprise clients.

Key Responsibilities

  • Anchor and execute comprehensive test strategies, automated frameworks, and end-to-end test plans for web applications, APIs, and microservices.
  • Build and maintain scalable automated test suites using modern tools like Playwright, Cypress, or Selenium within CI/CD pipelines.
  • Validate AI-driven workflows, agentic automation, predictive analytics, and integration touchpoints across enterprise ERP, MRO, and inventory platforms.
  • Design complex API and data validation processes using SQL and testing platforms (e.g., Postman) to ensure accurate microservices interactions and data integrity across relational databases.
  • Optimize release readiness by conducting performance, stress, and reliability testing across distributed AWS cloud infrastructure.
  • Collaborate cross-functionally with PODs, developers, and product owners to define clear acceptance criteria, conduct root cause analysis, and establish observability metrics.

Requirements

  • Experience: 5–7+ years of dedicated experience in software quality assurance for complex, enterprise-grade applications.
  • Programming Languages: Advanced proficiency in TypeScript / JavaScript or Python for object-oriented or functional test framework design.
  • Tech Stack: Proficiency with modern test automation tools (Playwright, Cypress, or Selenium), API testing tools (Postman, REST Assured), relational databases (PostgreSQL, MySQL, SQL Server), and AWS Cloud Services (EC2, Lambda, S3, RDS, API Gateway, SQS/SNS).
  • Cloud & Architecture: Strong experience validating microservices, event-driven architectures, asynchronous workflows, and cloud-native applications.
  • Language Requirement: Advanced English (written and spoken) is mandatory.
  • Soft Skills: Strong ownership mindset, analytical problem-solving skills, and a collaborative approach to cross-functional communication.

Nice to Have

  • Hands-on experience testing AI/ML-powered applications, Generative AI, or validating Large Language Model (LLM) outputs.
  • Active AWS Certifications (Cloud Practitioner, Developer Associate, or Solutions Architect).
  • Experience in aviation, MRO, supply chain, ERP, or enterprise operations software ecosystems.
  • Exposure to performance testing tools (JMeter, LoadRunner) and containerized environments (Docker, Kubernetes).

What You’ll Love

  • 100% Remote: Work from the comfort of your home.
  • Holidays Off: Enjoy official time off to rest and recharge.
  • Paid Time Off: Generous PTO policy for vacation and personal days.
  • Health Insurance Assistance: Financial support to help cover your health coverage needs.
  • Competitive USD Compensation: Get paid top-tier market rates in US Dollars.
  • Growth Opportunities: Access continuous learning, leadership paths, and challenging global projects.
